RECORDED ON JANUARY 24th 2024.
Dr. Robert McKenna is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Liverpool. Most of his work is in epistemology, but he is also interested in philosophy of language, philosophy of science and ethics. Within epistemology, he is increasingly interested in applied epistemology, feminist epistemology and social epistemology more broadly. Current topics of interest include the epistemology of persuasion, the epistemology of climate change denial (and of "dysfunctional epistemologies" more broadly), epistemic injustice and social constructivism. He is the author of Non-Ideal Epistemology.

In this episode, we focus on Non-Ideal Epistemology. We first discuss ideal epistemology, and then get into what non-ideal epistemology is. We talk about its ethical and political aspects, the example of feminist epistemology, and epistemic agents as deeply socially situated. We address the problem of the identification of expertise, and intellectual autonomy. We discuss how we can construct a better epistemic environment. We talk about how we can deal with public ignorance about important political and scientific issues. We discuss our responsibilities as inquirers, and how they depend on our social situation. Finally, we talk about motivated reasoning and skepticism.

that video they were discussing a book with the same previous content , that book must be still there : “Paul Davies talks science with Ben Rossdeutscher 37 min video Atomic Sky” it’s content is not the same anymore! the interviewer was younger but that video had the same title including 37 minutes!

The quality of the mind and the fact that the entity is a rational (meaning that it realizes and understands itself so that it has the ability not to be polluted) is extremely important in the process of filtering accumulated scientific knowledge, and claiming knowledge and ability will not change reality. Therefore, science needs intelligent, rational entities. Science is not about thieves, propaganda,…. etc to concise: only rational intelligent entities can give valuable meaning to knowledge.

that video “Paul Davies talks science with Ben Rossdeutscher 37 min video Atomic Sky” was about a long comment I wrote many years ago and I wrote that it’s one of the most important human thoughts ever, that thief wrote a book on out of that long comment (that was written many years ago on closer to truth YouTube channel, but they deleted it purposely for theft purposes), how the content of that video suddenly changed?! and where is the book (it’s content must be completely different than the content of the current video).

Knowledge depends on who analyzes and uses it. For example, some societies practice theft and fraud over several successive generations. Is fraud scientific knowledge? Therefore, the existence of rational, intelligent beings is what makes the difference (gives a valuable meaning to knowledge), because the filtering of accumulated scientific information is an essential factor that will determine the quality of knowledge. is there mind of value that filters it !

I use other application to surf YouTube without account but I have noticed that someone (not software) is watching and target me with a specific videos (something so dirty and stupid).
  • @aminam9201
this too was written many years ago, that was about genes as coding tools within coding systems, what information is, mind,…etc, but that has nothing to do with their alleged gods: “Scientists Are Changing Their Minds (EVIDENCE For God!) Daily Dose Of”
  • @aminam9201
Accumulated scientific knowledge depends on who is analyzing it: is he a real scientist or just a fraudster, a thief, a pretender, etc. Some oil, coal, or other companies may deny the existence of global warming, not because they lack knowledge, but because admitting this would conflict with their interests.

43:00 That seems like a strange example! It is a clear suppression of freedom of expression and thought based on the prevailing ideological tendencies! Legislation and laws have even been issued prohibiting questioning the Holocaust (exactly the same religious taboos, but in a new twist). What is most surprising is that most of the Holocaust skeptics do not doubt its occurrence, but rather doubt the numbers. For example, some say that they are 6 million Jews, but does the Jewish religion have Role in enacting legislation and laws in several countries to prohibit Holocaust denial?! It seems that this is the case in view of the new legislation and laws in the United States of America that are allocated to the Jews!

44:40 Do you know who are the accredited academics (well-credentialed academics? You can easily identify them just by watching the media, and there are those who grant that credentials , and by the way, the one who grants that certificate has nothing to do with science! Isn’t that weird?
  • @aminam9201
the exact same thing happened with the other video on skeptic (the Jewish woman), how can they change the content but the keep the same date and title without the help from YouTube? YouTube is involved for sure, the target me by a specific videos,…..etc
  • @aminam9201
43:30 Can this be applied to the Palestinians?! Isn't what is happening to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip a genocide (Holocaust)? What is the difference between the two cases? Should debate be banned due to the Holocaust of Palestinians also being a fact? Or are the divine truths different?
  • @aminam9201
do you know what this is? 3:50 “The missing law of nature, and how we found it | Robert Hazen The Well” I wrote that myself “Time as a function similar to machines,…. etc that was in details, they got a revelations from their gods (heavens)!
  • @aminam9201
Is there a new religion (modern day slavery)? Taboos ?
  • @aminam9201
Take it seriously, the people of gods betrayed mankind many times (they targeted the top of the pyramids of power and used X substance to get absolute control).
