So sad how idols always have to put up with having a “perfect” persona and even if they make the smallest mistake or a misunderstanding they get the worst hate for it.

I feel so bad for Wonyoung… she seemed so much happier in iz*one. It’s like she was forced to grow up WAY too fast. She’s just 17… I cannot even imagine how much all the hate affects her mentally

The biggest thing I worry about with I’VE is how jammed-packed their schedules are. Especially Wonyoung, even today she has mubank and then immediately has to prepare to go to Germany for two days to perform. And then has come right to Korea to work again. Even when fans ask her how her sleeping schedule has been she says “It’s better if you don't know.” It's scary because even the members said she won't share her struggles with them. Wonyoung will just work without ever complaining. Plus She already confirmed I’VE is having a summer comeback. They worked on “Love Dive” in February so I wouldn't be surprised if the song and Choreography for the new come back is already finished or close to it. On top of all the girls having individual activities, frequent comebacks and constant work with no breaks is bad for the member's health. None of them are even 20 yet. I can honestly see I’VE being overworked throughout their careers.

To be honest if starship is lying anout their ive’s ages i’m concerned for leeseo. because if they changed her birth year (for example from 2004 to 2007) just to make her appear younger than thats really messed up because she went through so much unnecessary hate because of her age.. Guys i know that leeseo is an actual middle school, this is just a prediction and i’m pretty sure starship doesn’t fake ages anymore!
  • Pretty disturbing that the company who manages them treats them like dolls and play things. Hopefully 10-15 years from now they'll be okay, the amount of stress, anxiety etc, they're experiencing at a young age will definitely take a on toll on them in their later adult years. Take for examples the Disney child stars, some of them managed to escape from Disney, some of them went cuckoo from the stress, trauma abuse etc. they experience from their past work. Wishing them the best, they're talented and overall a great group.

wonyoung gets hated on for EVERYTHING. poor girl. she's so talented and nice
  • Idols swearing, looking like a mess, being angry, dating in public etc should all be NORMALIZED. They’re literally human so idk why knetz and companies expect them to be robots, it’s actually insane. We all have a different view of what ‘perfect’ is to us, so idk why companies try so damn hard to push that kind of image for their groups.

“Exposed for being Taiwanese”?? Now being Taiwanese is something bad that you can be exposed ?? What is wrong with people…
  • i am so happy that love dive was successful but wonyoungs hate is going TOO FAR… if they hate her for let’s just say her outfits it’s crazy cuz it’s not her fault as she didn’t choose the outfits… but some of the things are too much… just FOR EATING A GODDAMN STRAWBERRY WITH 2 HANDS WHATTT?! Because she was “too cute”, pick me for eating that strawberry? Another one FOR MAKING A STRUGGLING FACE WHEN SHE CANT OPEN THE CHIP BAF WHICH IS NORMAL AND PPL SAY ITS “Typical Pick Me behaviour” like wonyoun is not s
  • These idols go through a lot to make it to the big time but they are naturally talented and they deserve respect, not treated bad by anyone. The industry they are in can be exploitative with shady ppl so I hope they are being well protected now

I want to go to selfie classes. I need to take good slefies

I totally agree with that suga/hobi comparison!! Yoongi was very portrayed like a savage and too introverted person but it's very easy to see that he's very outgoing and nice. And for hobi the same, he is potrayed like a very energetic person that is always happy but in fact I see J-Hope as an introverted and calm guy.

Imagine being 17 and getting this much hate! That's what it's like for Wonyoung. Literally everything she does is criticized. She seems exhausted and the spark and light she used to have is gone. Also, if (and it's a big if) she is Taiwanese, so what? Tzuyu, Shuhua, and YangYang are all Taiwanese and have really successful careers.
  • None of these requirements seem severe aside from them possibly lieing. Tiktok classes and selfie classes actually make total sense to me if I were in the spotlight, and pretty practical for anyone that's actually held down a job. Also I feel like a lot of these things are more for the girls benefit than in anyway harmful, knowing how insanely critical and ridiculous knetz behave.
  • The funny thing about the TikTok one is that personally, and also overall, kpop idol tiktoks that aren’t super professional tend to go more viral than those that are set up. Like keeho, felix and some of yeonjun’s.
  • Idols shouldn't have to be perfect. The should be allowed to be themselves without getting any hate. Poor Wonyoung has to suffer from hate every single day even if she's just breathing. And the selfie lessons are just ridiculous. These idols, not only IVE, work so hard to be "perfect" and yet, they STILL get hate. I'm sure that they joined the companies to have fun but extreme diets, d3@th thr3@ts, sasaengs, etc are not fun at all.

Wtf, Star Ship is so strict. They have so many crazy rules. I feel sorry for their idols.
  • @HenningGu
Look, I've been following all members ever since Produce 48, during IZONE and definitely afterwards. I have absolutely no hate towards any of them, not even when Minju decided to forgo being an idol in favor of being an actress or even Hyewon who, by the way, seems to be absolutely living her best life mainly being a YouTuber. I do admit that I've kinda been ignoring the criticism raised towards. The genuine ones, not the hate which is just so.... ugh. I'm kinda rambling here. Even if Wonyoung is faking or is told to fake some aspects of her, I suggest everyone who wants to hate to go through the literal years of content, comments from people who worked with her or even, God forbid, spend a bit of time actually watching her and her content and tell me, what she has EVER done that warrants this treatment. Direct your (not you you and this video) criticism towards the company, not the girls. They have done nothing wrong and are indeed the victims. The latest episode of Wonyojng having to go to Music Bank and then literally having to get on a plane to Germany the next day is a prime example. Edit: it's worse. She goes directly from Music Bank to the airport, otherwise there's no possible way that she'd make it.

"She's faking being cute" Bro she always act super cute since she was on Produce 48, In fact I think she's probably actually trying to act LESS cute now and more composed. But geez she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. Leave her alone.
