I am surprised by the amount of criticism. I work as aerospace engineer for a company where we design actual airplanes. Certainly things can be much better designed and improved - that’s always the case. But, progress at all levels is made by people that β€œdo and try”. People that only provide passive criticism help nobody, not even their ego !!! To those who put themselves and tried to make this machine flying - well done !!! Keep on improving !!!

Tested 3 years ago, and now it's happening. Great stuff.

Perfect to keep you cool on those really hot days

This would open up space for many new research on swarm intelligence, cooperative manipulation, etc. Good start. Keep up bro.

Having flown a remote 4 channel helicopter before with no stabilisation I totally understand why he's not taking off, but also would like to mention that hoovering is about the hardest thing you can attempt in manual.

This thing would turn you into spaghetti when it crashes. When it crashes.

Sounds like a swarm of bees has invaded you.

Think how much he's learned in the process. I would know where to begin such an experiment. Congrats on your inventiveness!

I would like to weigh in on this, there is a lot of thought and planning just to accomplish what he has done! I have plenty of respect for someone being able to achieve what this man has done, when and if he gets a perfectly working machine capable of safe flight it may or may not be this same design, but you have to start somewhere to get to the end result, I wish I had the funds to be able to try my own ideas for flight and the nuts it takes to test it..... well done

It's amazing that your able to get it a few feet off the ground! It's a awesome invention, keep up the good work!
