I really think media literacy needs to be taken seriously by school systems because it’s becoming so important to the average child’s life and it’s really not being taught by parents.

'block and move on,' although sounding passive aggressive, is really a great motto on the internet tbh. anyone who says something outrageous most likely wants to have someone respond to them. saved countless hours of my life by blocking and moving on.

What is particularly frustrating is that thanks to the way algorithms are strucutred these days, just stopping long enough to verify that a video is fake counts as engagement.
