  • Crazy how far you can get when the dude doing the tutorial assumes you actually know nothing about computers.
  • I'm a beginner, I've searched many ways to install the mod without NMM, I hope to be good at modding soon. Big thank for this Tutorial.
  • @Nevma
HOLY CRAP. This is by far the best and most helpful modding video I have ever seen. Thank you so much!

This helped hugely cause I always wanted to play on PC, and always would crash on Xbox had enough. Saved enough money get good gaming PC and now watching this learning how to set up is don't get vortex or nexus mod manager is big! Thank you and hope others find this video helpful.

A video on mod stabilization would be much appreciated

Hey, Dak! I wanted to thank you for creating such an amazing tutorial; this video was extremely easy to follow! This is my first time adding modifications to a game, so your guide is much appreciated!

This is the video I used to get started--- thank you so much. Would love to see you do more beginner tutorials like you mentioned near the end (regarding mod order stability, etc.), but either way, I'm enjoying watching your mod bundle videos too.

Absolutely incredible and comprehensive tutorial. Simple, Clear, and to the point.
  • @tinou3462
Man, I had a lot of problems with NMM to the point where the game literally would not even start up, now with Mod Organizer 2 it's working flawlessly, thanks a lot for the tutorial and god bless 🙏

I just needed to give you a shout out for doing this vid. Ive been playing and moding both Skyrim and FO4 for some time. I even learned a couple new things from this. So thank you for making it. I would defiantly like to see more from you.

I've been poking cautiously at MO2 with a stick -- nice to see a good solid video on how it works and what mods look like within it!
  • @Kowalth
You went straight to the point, just what I wanted to know, and of course it would be great to find a LOOT tutorial for F4 made by you.
  • @craftsper
Great vid! To save some trouble for others; !!! MO2 also does a virtual instance of the FO4 ini files !!! So if you're wondering why your non-esp mods aren't working, its because you need to alter the ini files in "yourdrive":\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Fallout 4\profiles\Default IGN has a good youtube tutorial on how to alter them accordingly, I basically altered both the main FO4 ini files and the virtual ones MO2 made, now every mod I installed with MO2 works!

Thanks a lot for this guide. I'm fairly new to PC gaming and Fallout 4 was a much more difficult game to understand PC mods than any game I've played, I spent hours and didn't feel like I learned anything but this guid helped so much, thank you a ton!
  • Thanks, I used to actually make my own mods for FO4 but it's been so many years since I've touched it I'd forgotten everything. This video was a perfect refresher course to jump back into this game again.

Absolutely fantastic tutorial, I rarely mod games as I often run into conflicts etc that I find troublesome to fix. This is due to my lack of experience and difficulties finding proper information that isn't solely catered towards people who already understand how to mod. This step by step was not only easy to understand but also explained some of the basic things noobs like me simply don't know, like being able to delete certain files after installers have been downloaded for instance. Thank you for putting this together I am going to give Fallout 4 another try now lol.
  • @Darkstar12p
OH MY GOD I've redownloaded FO4 like 8 times in the past 2 weeks. Did NOT know that the left side of MO2 was just for my organization and that the plugins on the right was what I needed to organize xD
  • Thank you for this, I've just recently moved to PC from Xbox so it was nice to find an updated modding tutorial that I could easily follow
  • @Genesis.1-1
Amazing tutorial. I've watched many Nexus, MO2 and other tutorials and this is the best. I played FO4 extensively using a Nexus mod manager but removed everything a while ago because the game was buggy and I was tired troubleshooting it. I Downloaded Skyrim SE and MO2 to mod that game using a different tutorial and it worked Okay, but was set up as a portable instance based on the tutorial. Thank you for this video, the best I've seen on mod management.
