Im the soundtrack version, Bruce actually hits a high note. He does in the film as well but it’s in the background along with the chorus
  • @bri7361
Hortensia (red beret girl) is so iconic
  • Every single Child in this Movie is so freaking Talented. I was GOBSMACKED Dare I say it is the single greatest Movie Adaptation of a Stage Musical of ALL TIME?!
  • In the book the parents were just as scared of Miss Trunchbull as the children were. It was in the 1996 movie that it was mentioned that the parents wouldn't have believed the children
  • @BladerJuggs
The most telling part is that Matilda herself says no adult would actually throw a child and then Miss Trunchbull actually does it. Miss Trunchbull is either reasonable in her punishment or so extreme that not only would no one think she is willing to do it, no one thinks she even has the ability to do it.
  • This song is awesome‼ Ps: Bruce: Never again will I doubt when my mommy says “I’m a miracle‼” Me: yeah you go Bruce‼
  • @caril.9384
YES FINALLY Revolting Children is honestly one of my favorite musical songs
  • My God. They nailed this movie! I have watched it three times now, and I loved the performances of Alisha Weir, Lashana Lynch and Emma Thompson. And I am a huge fan of the musical and the book.
  • @robocoastie
Those kids SLAY. Gave it their all triumphantly
  • This movie turned out so well compared to most musicals that get turned into movies. I still wish some parts from the musical was in here, but overall if this was your first introduction to Matilda the musical- its a fairly good one! Honestly, im waiting to see if you react to any Ride the Cyclone songs/performances! (especially the Ballad of Jane Doe) it would be interesting to see your comments on that song specifically. Just a recommendation! (although I recommend the entire musical of Ride the Cyclone- its so good. Emily Rohm is an amazing singer and as Jane Doe... so good.)
  • a interesting fact, the red head class mate you see at the start of the song in the back round and jumping in the main hall near the breakdancer is the same girl from the Grinch stole Christmas
  • this song truly slaps, Tim Minchin did such a great job with this whole musical and the kids are unbelievably talented
  • @TheTradge
These kids did not have to go as hard as they did, but my god they absolutely killed it in every single respect! 🙌🏻
  • @Zoe-fu7bt
I’m not a big fan of kid movies but my students requested to watch this for their celebration. I intended to get some work done while they were watching but I think I was just as engaged as they were. Great story and music!
  • I hope you react to Matilda's songwriter, Tim Minchin. He does musical comedy, and has written another musical Groundhog Day(based on the movie) My suggestions for songs: Rock and Roll Nerd, or Lullaby
  • @fishbrat
Did you know that the director of this version of Matilda was the original director of the first stage show of it?
  • This movie is honestly amazing. So well produced. Lived up to the hype!
  • @MendiMayhem
TIM MINCHIN HAS CURSED MY EXSISTENSE WITH THIS MASTERPIECE AND I LOVE HIM SO MUCH FOR IT
