Spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang slammed the alliance when asked to comment on the declaration adopted earlier this month at a NATO summit in Washington, DC.
In recent years, NATO has continued to "spread its evil hooks" into the Asia-Pacific region, said Zhang. The spokesperson in Beijing went on to accuse the Western alliance of instigating conflicts around the world. The Alliance is attacking China and encouraging certain countries in the region to follow suit, Zhang added.

When Tony Blair invaded Iraq for the non existent weapons of mass destruction. The invasion of Iraq was neither in self-defense against armed attack nor sanctioned by UN Security Council resolution authorizing the use of force by member states and thus constituted the crime of war of aggression, according to the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) in Geneva.

China's comments are very right.

NATO intervention in Libya was extremely controversial due to its failure in outlining what the true objectives were. Although the intervention was framed under Responsibility to Protect, it is clear that regime change was the priority for NATO—though it does not follow from this that NATO failed to protect the Libyan population in its entirety. As discussed, it is unquestionable that NATO’s short-term priority was regime change (excluding the initial justification under Responsibility to Protect), and this was achieved. However, this alteration of mission objectives questions the legitimacy of the intervention, and of NATO itself.
