When I was growing up my mom would make Salmon Croquettes. I looked forward to those dinners. I'm 66 now and truly appreciate and miss my amazing parents. Thank you for bringing up wonderful memories. Celebrating Resurrection Sunday . He Lives💪🙏💕🐢🐝👏P.S. Delicious recipe 🎉

Have you tried them baked? Takes the flavor to another level. I drizzle mine with a little oil on my parchment paper and some on each pattie. I bake them in a 375 degree oven, 7 minutes, turn and bake for 4 or 5 more minutes. Love your channel.😍

I've always kept the bones and skin. I just drain off the liquid. I've even used Mackerel instead of salmon. You could do this with tuna also.

Thank you for this recipe. I forgot about these salmon patties. I have not eaten them in 65 years. When I was a child, my grandmother made them. I'm going to put them on my grocery list this week. Mmm!

Hello Pam! Im do glad Chef Jeffrey referred us to your channel. I love your teaching Spirit! The salmon croquettes look amazing. So crispy!! Fried to perfection. A side salad sounds good. Thank you for sharing. The creamy potatoes took them up a notch. Must try!!!

Hi Pam. We need to leave everything that’s in the canned salmon. That bone is soft cartilage that has good health benefits. Good for our joints.

Just had salmon patties for lunch yesterday. I too add onion and bell pepper. And I can't have salmon patties without pea sauce. That's how my mom always made them, so it was something I grew up with. It's just a basic white sauce (seasoned to your liking) and then adding in some frozen peas and warming them through. Spoon onto salmon patties and enjoy. Delicious.

Potatoes is a first I’ve ever seen. I’m intrigued.
