dying person: help me pls me: hang on i gotta play Stayin Alive so i can do cpr properly
  • Just an interesting fact. This song has the same beats per minute as recommended for CPR chest compressions. Edit: Thanks for the likes guys I just thought I’d lay down some knowledge a nurse gave me while at school. Some of you probably think this is a myth, and it kinda is the actual BPM for CPR is slightly higher than Stayin Alive. But having an actual beat in your head to remember when a time comes to do CPR is way better than just sitting there not knowing what to do when someone might be dying. Stay safe people.

My dad died in August last year. He absolutely LOVED disco and bubble gum pop. At his service we listened to basically the entire BeeGees discography (something I grew up with it,was Dad's favorite band). When I was a kid I thought this music was "funny" - listening to it as an adult you realize how deep and how much bigger it is, than you. I have an absolute new appreciation for disco, because of my dad and the BeeGees. ❤️ I will always be a fan.
