That was absolutely gorgeous. The first scene made me shiver and hold on to my teeth, but everything was stellar. The actors are phenomenal, the little one is absolutely phenomenal; so much comes through his eyes! The story, the music, the composition, the backgrounds, the colors, the use of light and shadows, THE CREATURE and the acting choices made for them is genius. Needless to say that i loved it!
  • I think this is the first time I see a mysterious voice that says "I'm your friend" and is actually telling the truth.

Everyone is appreciating how good this was made, and I am too but can we also take a second to realise how sad this story actually is... These kids are so desperate to have a family, that they were ready at anything just for this...
  • @SurfyTurnip
When they told the kid they were going to adopt him, he was so happy and I knew they would see his teeth and think twice which was what hurt me the most. I just didn't know that they were all gone. Pulling on my heartstrings

I love that even for a twisted monster who wanted children's teeth, it still helped the little boy. Shows that even the thing knows he deserves much better.
  • @ErinJeanette
Man it broke my heart seeing him trying so hard to get adopted.
  • This is a master piece, I nearly cry when I see hope faded away from the boy face. He tried so hard, he noticed the first child who got adopted, had a bible so he bought one. Combed his hair, made himself clean so that the parents will choose him. The end just make me sad.
  • I love how they portrayed adoption as getting new friend(s), it really tied together how the monster wanted to be Thomas' friend and the final scene honestly to me; looks like he finally got adopted by someone he can learn to like.

So the nuns didn't realize what the children were doing to themselves? My god! Such a great film. Thomas' performance was stellar but it's also extremely saddening seeing the condition of the children.
  • @RainEDJ
I feel so sad for him. I know this film is fiction, but this really does happen to kids in orphanages. They wait and wait to chosen for a real family… and get the same fate as him. It’s so sad.

I wish this will be adopted into a full length film. Worth the time watching. Brilliantly terrifying
  • @GigaChad-us9gg
this short film made me realize that...all scary things are not bad...its just the way they look... and deep inside is a friendly creature capable of doing amazing things
  • @marlof8600
The toothless boy smiling is forever ingrained in my brain. This film was brilliant.
  • @nrabinov
Would have been perfect had the monster at the end asked Thomas if he’d like to be adopted by it.
All in all, highly effective horror short!
  • @blakes6160
The ending was so sweet! She gave him a tooth when he didn’t have any!
  • Wow!!! Whoever made this needs to start making full length films.. like yesterday. Absolutely amazing! I loved it so much. I like how it’s equally sad and scary. Loved the main character.

  • @shortoftheweek
We absolutely loved this twisted take on the tooth fairy! Added points for a truly freaky monster. 🥛🦷
  • @brandenmarx3765
It always makes me soo happy when the demon/ entity or monster keeps their word about being a friend, its honestly more likely then a real human keeping their word
