What did you think of this new style of video? Would you like to see more like it?

I love how chatot was banned because it could say slurs
  • @Xhadp
One thing to note is that Chatter cannot be sketched. I'd like to think that Smeargle would have also gotten banned if it could have been sketched over to Smeargle.

Imagine a Chatot yelling “Fu*k you!” at someone and winning.
  • Fun fact: When i was a kid and came to know that chatot could record a voice message, I immediately zoomed in my nintendo, caught a chatot and decided to make the most terrifying message a trainer could say: ''I like Simisear'' wit the loudest voice possible, this was because in my school everyone hated the monkey and i decided to ruin the life of them by using my powerful bird to spread hate and destruction, good job Chatbird

Poor Chatot, it didn't deserve the treatment it got
  • If anyone could accurately make out whatever Chatot was saying through that muffled-to-hell mic, they deserve a medal.
  • Good thing they banned it. I heard that recording "World champ diff baybeee" for chatter resulted in an instant teamwipe and deleted the opponents savefile. Apparently you actually had to be a world champ for this to work though, so it was very rare. But still, a bit unbalanced especially for tournaments.

Idea for Chatot- Instead of saying what you say, They can have chatter make the cry that the opponent’s Pokémon has. Pokémon like Charmander wouldn’t be that loud, but Pokémon like Exploud would be extremely loud and have a high chance of confusion

Similar situation for Cofagrigas in Gen 5, you couldn’t trade one because the censorship system for censored words picked up Cofagrigas’s “fag” in the name, leading to a trade ban back then before it was lifted
  • @SereKabii
the funniest thing was that, despite the removal of its central feature, chatter was buffed in generation 6. instead of having a 1-31% chance of confusion, guess what its chances of confusion became? 100%.
  • I had a friend get in trouble in school because he was trying to teach Chatot to say filthy things. You've done a lot of balance talk for types, I would find a similar one for abilities interesting. Buffing bad abilities, nerfing broken ones, or just discussing what makes an ability bad or good
  • @zifny3035
I thought he said "Glaceon is a well balanced pokemon" instead of "Zacian is a well balanced pokemon", and somehow, they're both equally wrong
  • @ruccsacc
You should've mentioned that after removing the ability to record audio samples, they buffed chatter to have a 100% confusion chance in gen 6 onward.
  • @comedicpain
"Zacian is a well balanced pokemon" hurt a lot to hear as someone thinks that somewhere in the world. Video was good and funny!

Dude Wolfe. Video quality aside, it is so amazing watching you expand and solidify yourself as the #1 Pokemon content creator, in my opinion. It's genuinely inspirational and you should be so proud of what you are putting out there. A perfect blend of fun and informative. You rock, dude.

Loving these more condensed competitive rundowns. I’d love to see more specific analyses of certain Pokémon as well.

Considering Legends is single-player and gives special spotlight to all the Gen 4 Mons, I’d have loved for OG Chatter to have returned. I wanna scream ominous Bible verses from my tiny bird while fighting Giratina.
