I like how despite Springtrap sounding somewhat regretful, he still comes across manipulative and evil. Lines like "why do they get to go and why do I have to stay?" make it seem like he's playing victim when he's obviously no such thing. Also "If I could rewind I would never go back to the place at the time" shows that he doesn't really have regret for murdering his victims, his regret is getting caught and springlocked. The song comes across more that he's trying to manipulate someone into believing him

The parts where his voice seems to cut itself off, as if he’s arguing with himself... I think what Groundbreaking was going for was an internal monologue, but to me it sounds like two physical parts of Springtrap literally talking to one another, the suit arguing with the man inside it.

This is a great song because on the first listen you don't even know you're being manipulated by a man in a rabbit costume, he sounds genuinely remorseful, but once you look closer at the lyrics its very obvious he's completely faking it.
