I wasn't born in the 80s but I can totally resonate with the vibe.
  • @Nysmo420
Driving down the lone freeway at night with this mix on is truly something everyone should experience at least once
  • @matthrew
Gotta love synthwave, the music of the future, made in the past, just for us all to enjoy

To the person reading this, don't let the challenges of life bring you down. You are strong and capable of overcoming any obstacle. Keep pushing forward, and good luck on your journey! 💪🏼🌟

As a young adult in the 1980’s this playlist evokes incredible nostalgia that takes me back and gives me peace.
  • The city in this video has a population of 1,563,660,000 (1.5B) people: The video has 8,687 seconds. Each second a row of blocks appear. Each row has 30 blocks as far as we can see. Each block has 6 buildings in average. Each building is 4 floors in average. Each floor has 5 windows in each side on average. That means there are 5*5= 25 offices per floor in average. Assume 10 people work in each office (they're big enough). That means there are: 8,687 * 30 * 6 * 4 * 25 * 10 people. = 1,563,660,000. Which also means that if you wanted to depict all humans in a video like this, the video would have to be 12.3 hours long to show all (almost) 8B humans.

This mix has been getting me through some intense work/study sessions. The visuals are also just completely unreal. So grateful to have found this!
  • @benniewilliams
This visualization captured and relaxed me in about 5 seconds. Pure hypnosis.

I accidentally listened to the whole playlist, while making homework and studying for my studies. Pretty cool synthwave to listen
  • this is really good. I tried to do homework with the lofi girl but some of the songs were too emotional and distracting to study with. This is some nice neutral lofi.
  • Loudest of shouts out to whoever made this great mix and stunning loop to accompany it. It's just what I need right now.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to you, I've listened to this mix hundreds of times by now and it's definitely one of my favourites, got me through some rough times so just thought I'd say i appreciate you putting this mix together for the world to enjoy. :)

When Sun showed up in my recommended for the first time, I think my life changed.

Dude, you singlehandedly got me into synthwave, thanks! I never would've known of any of these artists had I never watched this video.
  • @Powderlegs
This is honestly my go to playlist for studying/working. Thank you so much. You have no idea how many project deadlines were met due to this playlist.
  • I always put this video on the back while playing minecraft with my friends, now its welded into some of my greatest memories, thanks for making it.
  • I love the fade up at the beginning. It slowly drowns out the rest of the world and brings you centered. Very nice start to a great mix. Thank you.
  • @scalperbot
love the subtle frequency modulation in some of the tracks, mimicking the slight warping sound you would hear from 80's tape decks :)
  • There has never been a playlist more helpful and peaceful that this
