Thank you Chris! A very satisfying video...I do SO LOVE to watch other people take risks with THEIR systems! A very enjoyable bit of trail-blazing! Very much appreciated indeed!
  • @edison3571
Thank you, Chris, This is by far the best Linux distro I have used. Much easier to use and add software.

Love zorin! Have had it for several years since xp went away. A big sigh of relief after the stress of dealing with windows.
  • @RoboNuggie
Very nice - Windows users would feel at home this.... thank you Christopher!

I just installed the Ultimate version last night. I'm a long time Ubuntu user (and Windows). So far what stands out to me the Zorin Appearance, the themes are nice, and the software store is huge it's gnome + flat packs + snaps. I can get most anything. In the coming days going to experiment with WINE. Great video thanks.

The next day: Well, that was quicker and easier to install than any version of Windows, ever... Congratulations to all involved in creating Zorin 15 Ultimate edition. (And, I know little about Linux). Amazing product!
  • Just got my Explaining Computers TShirt! Really Nice quality and worn with pride!
  • @RingZero
Thanks Chris, never knew about Zorin OS, like your style of educating the masses with new information, 🙏🏽

Great video! Very thorough, and speeding up the process made it very enjoyable to watch. Thanks very much. I was considering starting with the Ultimate version, but after watching your video I think I'll start with the Core and add software myself. I have always liked ZorinOS.

I'm always impressed with the progress of these Windows like distros. The only reason I haven't switched is that its simply not possible to run all of my programs in linux, as of yet...
  • Man I didn't know about this amazing software it's really amazing, will support the project
  • @62shalaka
Thanks for giving us a good look at Zorin OS. Great video, as usual!
  • @Jonah_NET
Great uncluttered to-the-point explanation that makes it easier for windows alternative seekers. Thanks too for "showing" difference between ultimate and core.
  • @tonifasth
This distro looks very nice. I like it already, even without trying it. Thanks Chris!

Wimbledon mens final, GB Grand Prix, Cricket World Cup final. You can keep them all, there's a new Explaining Computers video up. 😎👍
  • I installed the previous version of Zorin several years ago when my elderly mother needed an XP replacement on old hardware. She is not at all tech savvy but zero issues and the intuitive layout made it all very easy for her.
  • Christopher, I really enjoyed this look at Zorin 15. I first tried them out when it was Zorin 3 and of course I was not impressed like I am now. Of course, I am going to install the Core one on my 2007 IBM Thinkpad R61. If that is too heavy then I will go to the Lite version. Keep up the great work! : = )
