Thank you, Seth for speaking up. My dads parents died of alzheimers less than 18 hours apart. It was horribly sad. At the end my grandmother didn't remember her husband of 67 years. It broke my grandfathers heart but he kept trying as much as he could remember. When she died, my father broke the news to my grandad and he cried for about 8 hours. Then he was exhausted and he went to sleep. He never woke up. As sad as it was losing both of them at the same time, it bittersweet. He never wanted to live without her. I never wanted to live without them both. My dad died 6 months later.
