I have a friend named Evinn who wasn't exactly my friend, I thought of her as a friend but she didn't think of me as a friend. I trusted her enough to tell her who my 2nd-grade crush was and she betrayed me and told him. She then started threatening me saying that she would tell everyone and then eventually when I started to cry, she came up to me and said "It was a joke." then she asked me to forgive her. The reason why that story to me is important to how I trust people is bc once she broke the glass and tried to repair the trust, she tried to fix it. But what she didn't think about is that it takes forever for someone to trust you, but if they break it takes forever to repair. People who you trust, are the people who have always been there for you, Don't trust someone who doesn't bother to even try and empathize with you when you are upset! again, the people who you trust are the ones who have been there for you and care about you. Trust works both ways, for you to trust someone you have to give them a reason to trust you. For example, I trusted Evinn, but she never gave me a reason to trust her so I couldn't trust her anymore. In "looking at me" Gracie was very pretty, she didn't need a makeover to beat Shelby (all the make up and money in the world couldn't make Shelby even half as pretty as Gracie), but I understand why she did it. But in this video Gracie is even more beautiful. Reminds me of "The Princess Bride" which I read in high school, and how the main character Buttercup was said to be very beautiful without ever putting any effort into her appearance. Later in the book after she loses her lover Wesley the author explains how her sorrow had made her even more beautiful. It's parallel to this story, in the sense that after her breakup with Edward, Gracie is even more beautiful in this video than her first one.
