  • The entire time they were talking about channels that upload long videos a couple of times per year, I was just hoping they would mention LEMMiNO. He's my absolute favorite in that department.
  • @leewmurdock
I would watch a video series of Grey just explaining physics.
  • I've watched the Tiffany 2 video like 20 times, YouTube puts it in my recommendations every month and i always let it play to the end, usually while cooking or playing a video game, great stuff.

2:00 "I see people on YouTube... they must do that so they don't get plosives." Myke's response was so appropriate yet blunt. 🙂

greys family dynamic with the airplay googling is awesome i love it

Also the Tiffany video views, I've listened to the follow up 5 times but the original only once. Might also be bumped by rewatches.

Couple things, as a long term subscriber I am recommended to rewatch and do sometimes rewatch Tiffany 2( most recently while vacuuming my living room) often. It is re-recommended both in spite of and because I've watched and enjoyed it maybe three times already. Also, I remember seeing Tiffany 2 before I knew about Tiffany 1, and going back to find Tiffany 1 and watch what it was referencing. I enjoy the research parts and unearthing the Scotichronicon as I am a researcher and academic. I enjoy "how the sausage is made" as it were more than the "Oh Breakfast at Tiffany's, is that where that photo of Elizabeth Taylor is from...? Yeah I dont think I will go back and view that reference video to enjoy Tiffany 1. This endless referential recursion ends here, Breakfast at Tiffany's is below my reference Planck distance..."
  • Mic rambling is sure great start (not ironic, I love these guys)
  • I've just found this podcast and it's really scratching that CGP itch! You guys are hilarious and brilliant
  • My family also does the googling whenever something odd strikes us. It is different from the norm, but is much more interesting.
  • I totally feel the pressure of being a YouTuber with big gaps in content creation. For me I really struggle because my community expects a lot from me but I am a one man show that’s also trying to get through high school. Very stressful

Liked the video just for the opening chat about mics. I know nothing about mics or sound engineering and have never really had any interest in it but this was great. Irreverent learning is fun. Thank you.

Speaking of pulling back the curtain on ADR, I can no longer go to museums without noticing all the flaws, things hung wrong, lights distracting from the object, and more. Getting a job in the field has cursed me

If it makes Grey feel better, me and my family spent about 3 hours last night researching hummingbird behaviors and life cycles so we could theorize more about the hummingbird nesting outside Edit: on the Obsidian problem… why can’t you just export the script you’re trying to share as a PDF and send that to whoever you want to share it with? It sounds like that’s pretty much what you’re doing, but you’re making it sound like a huge ordeal. Is Obsidian not conducive to this process?
  • I was also very tempted by reMarkable, but opted for the Onyx Boox range as they had backlight (for bedtime reading) and have access (post some minor fiddling) to the android play store to fill some gaps. Another option is SuperNote (no backlight), but apparently better pen-to-paper-feel.

Flux assists with the binding of the metal together. Solder contains a few different metals and flux helps them weld properly. It is used in a lot of metal working.

Got my homework for my follow up appointment this coming Wednesday
