I'm so glad to see so many of these new smaller dual relay switches!
It's great to have options :)

High quality & Only 24 Hours Build time: pcbway.com/

This one is similar to the Shelly2, Sonoff Mini and others. It comes with the option of Solid State Relays (no click sound), and the stock firmware works with MQTT so easily connects to Home Assistant or any other (resectable) Smart Home hub.

Best part is Dr. Zzs talking our Portuguese Language! Parabéns! (Congratulations)
  • @BrunoHorta
I love this video hehehe :), DR zzs the auto discovery is to create automatically the switch or sensor on Homeassistant if you have mqtt discovery active on homeassistant
  • @PCBWay
Greeting from PCBWay, enjoy this video!
  • Muito bem, Bruno Horta, este video do DrZzs, é a prova que o produto é bom.
  • @etpedro
Totally agree with you. I'm a fan of autodiscover on "simple" devices like sonoffs or shellys but for custom devices I turn autodiscovery off! Congrats Bruno Horta for a great device!

I really enjoyed this video 😍👍🏽

Would love to see you demonstrate similar project using NODE MCU + TASMOTA and HASS.IO + MQTT. Thanks for sharing this

Hey Doc. Not sure what pir you are using but if it’s the hc-sr501 then the reason for the “auto-off” you are experiencing is because the pir Itself sets the output pin to high (on) when motion is detected and then so many seconds later the pin goes low (off) again. You should have 2 potentiometers on the pir. One of them adjusts the light sensitivity and the other adjusts the delay before the pin goes low again. If you increase the time on the pir itself then it means it won’t retrigger again until that time has passed. Generally having it low is useful so that you can set it in HA like you have. It just means you will get mqtt messages sent quite frequently whilst motion is being detected.

This looks really cool, great job on the video. The UI doesn't look to hard to understand but is it possible to change the language. I heard a Discord noise in the video I had to rewind it to make sure it wasn't my computer lol. Is it only me or is your mic really quiet

If you were sponsored by pcb way, you should state it upfront :)

I'm assuming if you use discovery, the "type" is the device type that it will be discovered as in home assistant - ie, light / switch etc

Nice Projekt, i think i Stick To my Shelly Cloud Certified Systems For Installation. But ist nice To use more io‘s

I thinking in something similar to replace sonoff ac/dc motor clockwise /anticlockwise for curtain with esp8266 01 on two relay module but i need wait for try, good review and well good spanish either. 😀🙂

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think the GPIO pins on the Shelly2 or 2.5 are usable once the device is powered up. If the GPIO pins are usable on this device, then this is more useful than the Shellys.

Very interesting device. There is as far as i can see, a distinct difference with the Shelby. The Shelby, as I understand usus a high voltage switch, whereas the Portuguese circuit uses 3v3 switch levels. In itself no problem, but you got to make sure that the (pre-existing) wall switch is completely separated from the grid when you use it. Use of the highlink module is an understandable choice, but it has a reasonable hight. In Europe, or at least in the Netherlands there are two main types of switch boxes. Shitty ones and shittier ones, or more diplomatic, shallow ones and slightly deeper ones, which makes building anything behind a switch a challenge. Nevertheless I am going to give this one a try (but build it myself so I can adapt it to fit as much as possible)
