People forget... Christmas is a dark holiday. There are lights, sure, but they're meant to shine in the darkness of Winter when all is dead and frozen. The divine fulfillment of an ancient promise stands in contrast to the vanity, tragedy, and brutality of existence in our fallen world. It's the joy in the face of the tragedy that makes it so powerful. Nothing wrong with the happy happy stuff -- and a lot of this music is actually pretty dark even as traditionally performed -- but this mix gives the holiday a well-deserved edge. It is the most epic of all holidays.

I'm totally in love with this music. I like epic music anyway. I recognize one song,"Walking In The Air" from the pbs fund-raising program "Celtic Woman".A then, nineteen year old Cloe Agnew, sang it. This was the premier performance of the group "Celtic Woman".

I was already onboard with this video, but when O Come O Come Emmanuel hit, I had to stop what I was doing and jam out to the song.

In the cruel blistering winter blizzard, I'm fighting for my life trudging through the snow and ice. Whether or not I make it home alive, will depend entirely on whether my heart can withstand...the snow shoveling of my driveway. This is now what I'll be listening to when heading out to shovel. Seriously though...people have died shoveling snow, from slips on ice or heart attacks from the physical labor.

If Christopher Nolan made a Christmas movie, these would fit perfectly for the soundtrack.

Silent Night in a minor key, HOLY CRAP this is amazing

I am playing this music every morning welcoming my kindergarten students to classroom. The music brings calmness as they enter and play quietly waiting for class to begin. Thank you.

When Santa comes into town....... At the head of an armada. ^_^

We Three Kings always gets epic fast. This version has me thinking of three renegade elves slipping through the Frozen Curtain to find Krampus, the one who might be able to stop the Mad Claus from carrying out his plan of Last Christmas. Not everyone made it... Merry Gentleman is the montage where Santa is putting the outriggers and doorguns on the sleigh.... Silent Night, the moment we find out Santa's payload is chemical. And what you do with Frosty brings to mind approaching the Pole through a blizzard. O Holy Night, slipping past the gaurds and the zombie reindeer to sabotage Santa's ships. All Ye Faithful, fomenting mutiny against the Mad Claus. Three Ships, three sleighs got off the ground. Oh Christmas Tree, our heroes and Claus with his most loyal, playing lethal hide and sneak in a spruce forest while the crashed sleighs burn, including the fight between Santa and Krampus with blazing trees around them.

The start of Jingle bells is too similar to Stranger Things soundtrack. WOW!!!

Very nice and unobtrusive but still festive Christmas music. But above all, not so cheesy. Perfect background for Christmas dinner, thank you for the very fitting combination
