Wouldn't be surprised if RDJ shows up again at some point. Probably nothing more than a cameo, but it'd still be cool seeing him again.

It’s possible the audience might be ok with a brief comedic cameo of Tom Cruise as an alternate Iron Man but any long term replacement variant would never fly. Robert Downey Jr is a legend.

I’d love to see something like Liam Hemsworth as Thor, and Chris Evans showing up as the human Torch

Imagine the Chrises as Avengers cast. Evans as Johnny Storm, Hemsworth as Hulk, Pratt as Party Thor, and Chris Pine as Captain America

I hope that at some point they can adopt the storyline where Tony becomes an AI and essentially replaces Jarvis/Friday. I feel like Tony being Spider-Man's mentor could've been more fleshed out were that the case. However, I can definitely understand if they don't want to undermine Tony's sacrifice by bringing him back in general

They may get Iron Man back in a way with things, the Tony Stark AI was one thing in the comics for a while, might be an interesting way for something to happen there...and could work as a supporting character for the Armor Wars and having Rescue and War Machine as more characters.

If we get variant Reed Richards, Marvel can still use the same actor for the main timeline version. They did it with Loki and Doctor Strange.

RDJ is a legend when it comes to iron man,or in his life itself...no offense to cruise,but as you said ,it is an entirely different MCU ,if they casted cruise back then ..but since an idol has been placed,we would love to see RDJ back on action...

I more than anything want to see Chris Evan’s as Johnny Storm in the Multiverse of Madness.

I can’t wait for the variants bc I would to see why other variants characters do in their own universes and timelines. Plus I would love to see a variants of Daredevil, Iron Man, X-Men, Dr. Strange, and Kang in the future. I would to see another Multiversal Variants team up.

I could see RDJ being in like a flashback or a hologram tho. But I been saying to my homies Ironheart would be the next MCU Iron Man whenever they kill him ever since I stumbled on the comics a while back. So I think multiverse Iron Man is a definite possibility but prolly not gonna be RDJ

Now I get why Chris Evans says he wanted to return to the MCU as Johnny Storm. I think he had inside knowledge that the studio was going to revisit past franchises with MoM.

Tom Cruise is a great actor, but I think he would have overshadowed Chris Evans' Captain America, as opposed to the chemistry with Evans and Downey where they are co-leads.
