  • The failure of Silicon Valley Bank has torn into global markets, with investors ripping up their forecasts for further rises in interest rates and dumping bank stocks around the world. I'm at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my dipping 200k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?.
  • @bradzafe963
Great, explained in layman terms. Whenever I have homework to do , there’s this stranger Indian somewhere across the sea who can explain pretty well what my teacher can’t do. More powers!
  • @kevsmills
This is scary. Rich people pay politicians to make sure they get access to taxpayer funds first when banks shutter or they're in jeopardy of losing all their money. I feel bad for the lowest paid workers that may be affected, but not CEO's. A lot of them have created this abusive corporate pay structure where they are paid 300 to 400 percent the salary of entry level workers. Most add very little value. They posture and perform with speeches, meetings, and excessive travel to provide the appearance of working hard. It's a con.

Rachna Ma'am, you don't understand what good things you are doing. No one would be able to explain with such clarity, I bet. Knowledge sharing is one of the kindest thing a person can do, giving the lessons so that one can stand on their own. Teacher/Lecturer is just a small word. You inspire and eccourage others. You are an artist who sing finance, this is pure music to ears. Wish you all the best CA Rachana Ma'am. And thank you.
  • Wow what a simplest explanation to this complex issue...hat's off to your teaching 👏 Thanks a lot 🙏 💓 God bless you 🙏 ❤️

It's amazing to see the resilience of Bitcoin, even amidst the chaos caused by the recent shutdown of Silicon Valley Bank. Despite the impact on the financial sector and the crypto market, BTC seems to have emerged unscathed and is once again being hailed as a safe haven asset. This is a testament to the value and potential of this relatively new asset class. There hasn’t been a more better time to start trading, thanks to Florence Osborn strategy I have been able amass 29 BTC in three weeks of trading. Her expertise and knowledge of the Bitcoin market are unparalleled and I feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

Why did this bank invested majority of the amount in just one asset class? This could be the best case study for explaining why portfolio diversification is needed.
  • Excellent explanation with original data, this video is the best among all on svb since original balance sheets of svb were taken for explanation and correlation. Till now I was of opinion that Rachana madam is for basics and backbenchers . Now, I advise professionals also need to see your videos.
  • Excellent & clear explanation! Thank you so much, was looking for such an explanation everywhere on the internet😄🙏 what would we do without your channel💁‍♀️
  • What I think is that soon we will see sharp correction in bond yields now which will pump up the equity markets. US experts knows v well what's best for them. HTM prices have gone down but at maturity obviously they will get their money back along with the regular coupon rate interest they must be already getting.
  • Great information. This case study helps us to understand the importance of diversified portfolio...
  • @bhawna840
Always a great learning experience.. thank you ma'am 💗
  • @sunnytoms9416
Your explanation about down fall of SVB is a good study material. SVB’s huge investment in govt bonds and subsequent interest rate hike led to $1.8 B loss. It is a lesson for other banks who invest huge amount in bonds. From this SVB collapse, banks can learn and other investors also can learn . Hope Indian share market is robust and will survive. Wonderful step by step explanation ma’am.
  • Superb analysis. Because of huge liquidity markets had run ahead of fundamentals and now to control inflation Fed had to increase the interest rates and that is why these things will keep happening for those who ignore fundamentals and follow liquidity
  • Thanks a lot for this simple and clear explanation. One more Q which is of more relevance. Can any Indian banks go the SVB way or there are some locks and checks in place in the banking system in India. Appreciate if you can have a presentation with data related to Indian banks which pertains to India. Thanks again.
  • You explained in very simplest way , terms and words. Considering Approximate numbers for calculation saves time, and people can link it to points your highlighting very easily. We not only learn new things but also we learn how to present it.
  • My spouse and I are adding a variety of stocks/ETF to my present holdings for the long term, We've set aside $250k to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, I believe it is a good time to capitalize on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualizing short term profit
  • Excellent video Rachana. I am Non Finance background and dealing with US bond markets and currency markets since 10 years. you explanation was crystal and clear. no one could have explained this way. Thanks a lot.
  • Nice analysis of the downfall of SVB. And so quick just after we heard the news! Thank you for the excellent work!
