The Devil's Pool sits at the top of the Victoria Falls waterfall, off Livingstone Island in Zambia. One of Africa's most death defying holiday attractions, this experiential film is the closest you can get without getting wet.
Livingstone island offers a view of Victoria Falls that is incomparable to any waterfall anywhere in the world.
For the best in African holidays, destination weddings, luxury hotel accommodation and obviously the most death defying view in the world, Livingstone Island at Victoria Falls is the place to visit.

I'm guessing this was originally discovered by accident. I mean, no one intentionally jumps into the water right at the edge of Victoria falls.
-
What the hell was going through the mind of the very first guy to try this?
-
Think about the first person thinking that they are going to die because they fell in, only to be stopped by that edge.
-
You gotta wonder who was the crazy SOB who discovered "the devils arm chair"
-
that is crazy scary. I got scared just watching the video!
-
Who was the first guy to discover that rock bench there!????!
-
when your young you feel immortal.
-
Omfg it terrifies me watching them so close to falling
-
i have been to both Zimbabwe and Zambia and visited the waterfall from both side...its the closest thing to heaven for me. it was absolutely breath taking, serene and just unreal..i didnt went that far though..i would have freaked out!!!

This is such an incredible video. I live near Niagara Falls and very few people who go over that one survive. I can't imagine being so near the edge of certain death as these people where.
-
That's a scary drop. That's why those guys werethere to stop them from dropping. But its interesting they call it the devil drop. Anything called the devil I don't think I want to go.

Funny, just stumbled on this and I was in that exact spot (staying at Tongabezie) for my Honeymoon 21 years ago! We did not go in the water but I did fly a kite off the edge of the falls by Livingstone Island!

A natural infinity pool.

That is amazing wow! I couldn't do that I'm not that brave, I have a phobia of heights. What a beautiful waterfall and you are so lucky you got that experience! Great video you had it all in focus and its a beautiful view.

Respect... I am assuming that water flow is very consistent. I don't think I would take that chance...
