Many of my students are relearning French after years or decades of not practicing. When you take a break from learning and using your French, it’s normal to sound a little bit outdated or old-fashioned in your French conversations. If that’s you, don’t worry — there’s an easy fix!

If you want to keep your French fresh and relevant, it’s important to introduce some French slang to your vocabulary knowledge. In today’s lesson, I’ll introduce you to some modern and up-to-date colloquial expressions that you can use in your French conversations, no matter your age or experience level.

Take care and stay safe.

  • I am an anglophone living in Quebec City. These youtubes are invaluable in keeping up with current expressions in France, many, if not most, of which are not common in Québec. So, thank you so much.

Thank you for posting this channel. I wish you were my French teacher back in grammar in middle school. Well I can read most French I have very little speaking ability but you seem to be changing that. I have already recommended your channel to quite a few friends. Merci.

Salut Géraldine, Merci pour cette leçon sur ces expressions. En ce qui concerne "kiffer", une autre expression est "kiff-kiff" comme dans le célèbre livre "kiff-kiff demain"
