Indie/Pop/Folk Compilation - September 2018 (1½-Hour Playlist)

Nice thought to think that nobody has finished listening yet, and that we are all watching together x

One year ago I was new with these montly compilations, even if I was used to your channel since some months. I was scared about changes in my life, in my studies. I was talking with some people in the same situation in the comment section. I remember that so well. I remember going to school everyday for the whole year, listening to your playlist, months after months, religiously waiting to be officialy in x month to listen to the x month's compilations etc. This school year was so important, it was the year I had my competitive exam to become a teacher, and here I am ... tomorrow I'm going to be officialy a teacher (part time for the moment as I have to finish school too). My first back to school as a teacher. My dream is coming true. And I will still be listening to your playlist while going to school, you can count on me.

I'm currently so deeply depressed and stressed out, but then again this Playlist calms me so much - it's magical. It's magical how I'm writing seminar papers at 11 in the night for tomorrow and still be as calm as a stone. Thanks for that - I guess.. ^-^

The Banff song "Renew" at 24:14 is absolutely amazing. Listening to it takes me back to an amazing scene in a mid-80's John Hughes movie, as if The Dream Academy could have performed this, or someone modern like Jack Antonoff. It has an alt-pop vibe that a person just can't find these days. Wow...powerful song!!!!!
