Many have heard about the efforts for justice in the case of Army PFC LaVena Johnson. In 2005 after only 6 weeks of her deployment in Iraq, PFC LaVena Johnson was found dead. The Army says suicide, but after close evaluation and discovering a plethora of discrepancies in the Army's report, LaVena's father Dr. John H. Johnson began the fight for justice for his daughter. On this episode of The Rock Newman Show our special guest are LaVena's father, Dr. John H. Johnson and attorney Donald V. Watkins. We warn our viewers that this episode of The Rock Newman Show goes into deep detail concerning the evidence and death of PFC LaVena Johnson. Dr. John H. Johnson and Donald V. Watkins contend that by no means is this case a suicide, and say they even know the name of the culprit.

If they do this to their own.. imagine what they do to the women in the countries they’re stationed at.....

I had the pleasure of meeting LeVena a few weeks before this incident. We were a part of the same battilion, but different units. She sat at the front desk in the communications center, a trailer where they kept phones and computers and she always greeted people with a smile. She had a spunky, positive and welcoming personality. The day before she was unaccounted for or missing, I came to use the computer. I took a seat (furthest away from the front desk). Within seconds of me sitting down, she made her way across the room. As she bypassed other soldiers, she smiled the entire time. Although she never mentioned it, I am sure she went out of her way to sit next to me because she saw that I was vexed about something. She officially introduced herself by offering me food. She said, "Hey girl, do you want some food? (She opened a takeout tray that was filled with chicken wings). I said, no. Then she mentioned how much she liked my hair, but I could tell that she wasn't interested in my hair, but more so on how I was doing... she immediately followed the compliment with, Are you ok? From that point, we talked about my hair. She was extremely bubbly. She definitely wasn't focused on a breakup. I can say this, she had zero signs a mental health issue. When they gave a debriefing about her "so-so" suicide, it never made since and it still doesn't make since.

I hope that the people who committed this crime gets caught, there is so much injustice in this world.

I joined the Army in 2007, and when I suffered a miscarriage in 2010 my chain of command acted like they were ashamed of me. My higher ups told other soldiers in my unit to not bring it up or call me because they made me do things against my pregnancy profile. These things happen but people look the other way. If you are a woman considering the Army, please never go anywhere alone and always take someone with you for protection. Justice for LaVena.
  • I will never believe this young lady killed her self. Shame on the Army for lying and continuing to lie.

My stepfather did tours in the Iraq and 15 years in the Army and he said she was raped and murdered and the Army is infamous for these types of scenarios.

Her dad is a real father. He will not stop until he gets justice for his baby! He raised a beautifully smart selfless young lady…I pray god gives this family justice!

LaVena would be turning 35 this month. We must protect our children the military, there are monsters in uniform.
  • This poor man. He’s having to describe the horrific damage done to his own daughter’s vaginal area. He’s had some long, lonely nights trapped in horror and rage over what’s been done to his precious daughter. I’m a therapist, and we have to hear some truly horrific stories. I’m sure his knowledge tortures him.

We just Cannot.Forget about this precious young lady...NEVER My heart aches for her beautiful family. Justice!

I do believe she was murdered. I have served in the military for almost 8 years, and it has done pretty good by me though this is by far unacceptable! The truth will come to light rather they want it to or not, and I speak that into existence!!!!!!!

I think someone raped her and got violent with her. Freaked out and shot her. Then freaked out again and tried to burn the evidence. I hope her and her family get justice.

I heard this story many years ago and it has stayed with me all these years. I don’t know why. I pray that she is in our Heavenly Father’s arms. May God bless her family and I pray she gets justice. 🙏🏼
  • As a Canadian, I fell across this horror story, this poor young woman, this poor family!!! My heart bleeds for them!!! :'( Military and Government officials are CORRUPT, such evil, such repulsion, this case, as well as ALL other cases, such as that of my Great Uncle who was "deemed" a suicide in the Canadian military, when all evidence pointed to homicide at just 21 years of age!!! Justice is no longer JUSTICE, we as family of victims KNOW that cover-ups and murders are committed, I shall NEVER, EVER respect the government, as a Canadian citizen, or otherwise!!!

this is a nightmare! we have a lot of wicked ppl walking this earth.

A father fighting for justice, goes in public again and again telling this story, even the gut wrenching details, must have some super natural power!
  • @SuperAimee77
I hope with the Vanessa Guillen case being recently publicized that it brings attention back to LaVena so she and her family will have some justice soon.

Not only is the coverup of this a travesty, but a remarkable human being has been taken from us. I'm terribly sorry for your loss, Mr. Johnson, I really am. Secondly, going through all of this to get to the truth while you are mourning your loss is an outrage.
  • @geturlife1694
