i feel like people kinda forget he erased all of life so wouldn’t that cut everything in half? half as many cows half as many fishes half as many plants? wouldn’t that just do nothing to our problem? it would be the same just in a smaller scale-

Why Didn't Thanos Just Make A Copy Of The Universe, Without Any Lifeforms, And Send Half Of The Current Universe There?

Personally I preferred his motivation from the comics where he was basically trying to hook up with the personification of death but she's basically like "I'm not interested" but he just won't take no for an answer and goes to ridiculous lengths to try and win her over. Basically, Comic-Thanos is the universe's most powerful incel, and I find that hilarious. :)
