Thanks for sharing this interesting mask design. Not sure how experienced you all are with makers from different countries. If you are watching videos made by Asia. Makers, the mask will likely be too small if you are not an Asian, and vice versa. Always test a new design using scrap fabric, old clothes or bedsheets instead of criticising the maker who has taken the time and effort to share!

I hate downloading and then printing patterns so this tutorial is perfect for me. For those concerned about wasting material, cut it on paper first and there you go. I'm thinking of sewing a small piece of elastic on the inside so it gathers the fabric, instead of the darts. Hopefully it'll work.

If you tie a small knot in the end of the elastic before stitching, it stops it pulling out which can happen with the round or very thin elastic

Really pretty fabric, and for me who sews, I found it understandable. I would add filter fabric to make it safe and effective. The woman who spoke meanly to you, clearly disregarded what her kindergarten teacher taught her about the Golden Rule. It was awful, and you did not deserve it. Take care and stay safe. Happy Summer.

Great idea. While pretty, do not use eyelet fabric as the holes in the fabric reduces the mask barrier to a single layer, reducing the effectiveness in containing your droplets. Both pieces of fabric should be solid to create a double barrier to contain your droplets.

I love this am struggling to breath and wear glasses I wonder if this pattern can have that part that will go over my nose under my glasses so won't have to constantly adjust the mask to go under my glasses
