Steve leaves a heartwarming message for all of his old fans. Meatcanyon: yes but how do I ruin this?
  • @LauraLegends
Fun Fact: Steve from Blue’s Clues revealed that one of the main reasons he left the show was because he was going bald, and he didn’t want that to happen on national television in front of his young fans

It's honestly impressive how you were able to make the audience's emotions about this dog do a complete 180. Going from repulsed, disgusted, irritated to heart broken and empathetic in about 2 seconds is incredible
  • 3:13 the fact blue's tail is wagging in the freaky cartoon hallucination world is sad because the real dog Blue was probaly happy and wagging her tail too.
  • @ScopeShot
Wow… this one messed me up more than usual

Expectation: A silly monster twist on a beloved children's cartoon Reality: Depressed schizophrenic man has one of the worst mental breakdowns of his life, resulting to him murdering the last thing that loved him.
  • @Thund3rDrag0n12
The fact that the only part of reality that could break through Steve's shattered mind is someone talking about loving their dog shows that despite his fear and aggression towards her, Steve loved Blue until the very end.
  • @jackspooner1878
At the end, I finally realized it was about Steve, being mentally ill, and having schizophrenia the sad fact is is that he’s gonna have to deal with the dog being dead for the rest of his life looking at it from a real world perspective it’s really sad what mental illness does to people and their loved ones to
  • The vomit sounds were so realistic. I felt like I was in a restroom of a Long John Silvers. Incredible.
  • I went from horrified to bawling real fast and I've never cried so hard so quickly after seeing a realistically drawn dead dog. I think anyone who has lost a dog knows this pain.
  • Surprised nobody's talking about MeatCanyon's acting, like he did PHENOMENALLY here.
  • @keepthetrash
This evoked more emotion than actual Steve telling me he never forgot me.
  • @PaleoRJ
I had a psychotic break recently and this is exactly how it felt. Great job on accurately displaying a break in mental health!
  • @wulipe
The ending really affected me, the dog was just like the one I lost recently and the way he showed it was a very strong scene 😭
  • What's even sadder is that Blue was being neglected. The fridge, the dog bowl, the tv ad, the bathroom, those were all clues that she was just asking for love, care, and attention. The talking objects were Steve's subconscious trying to warn him as well 💔.
  • @amerki874
Notice how blue never hurts him- it’s all in his head.
  • @legacy9171
Some people lose it in the shock of the ending but I keep thinking about this video. It is a true masterpiece in how obligations and responsibility, despite coming from a place of love and a source of strength, can also breed resentment and anger. This could be in a literal caretaking situation like what is shown or a metaphorical one, like Meatcanyon being forced to crank out cartoons to a gleeful audience unaware and uncaring of how the feels about his relationship with YouTube and creation in general. I haven’t found myself real red ring on a piece so often as this since I first watched lasagnacat’s pipe strip video which unironically changed my life. Thank you for your work Papameat!
  • I like how everyone’s yelling at Steve for clues, and the mailbox is just concerned about being filled to the brim with mail.
