I #carved a whale out of #epoxy and #wood. I used various woodworking tools to powercarve this whale out of 11.5 gallons of epoxy resin. This is one of my most unique sculptures to date and one that features a tremendous amount of woodworking and epoxy resin working. Follow along to watch this whale come to life!

If I commissioned a project like this, with this much time and effort, and the artist STILL made time to make me something super special, that thing being sourced from leftovers from the actual project...that’s so meaningful man. That would mean a lot to me and I hope your clients have appreciated as much as they should.

Never would have imagined it would turn out as beautiful as it did. What incredible work!

I know you said your T-Rex was your best, but this ranks up there with one of the most exquisite pieces of art I have ever seen!

Thought $18500 was a hell of a lot at first but to say this sculpture is a masterpiece would be an understatement. You truly are a craftsman with exceptional talent.👍 that whale is beautiful and I’m sure your clients are extremely grateful.

Dude it's like a museum piece, it's so stunning I can hardly believe it's even real.... I want one now with layes of blues going from the lights to the darkest

I always love the fact that he’s not an idiot and uses protective gear. Seriously the amount of channels out there that just go without eye and inhalant protection is ridiculous.
  • @lowercaseCAPS
"We don't even really like him that much" - totally cracked me up! This looks absolutely amazing, you're so talented! I can tell I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon watching the rest of your videos!

  • @t0nyxgq
It would be awesome if you can get the client reactions to all your hard work. I'm sure a lot of us want to see that.
  • The wood shapes are reminiscent of a futuristic city scape within the whale...simply stunning! Kudos on such a masterpiece!👌👍✌😮
  • I don't think I've seen anything more beautiful in my 65 years. My hat is off to you sir.
  • @tia283
Yes! I love sanding, actually. This is one gorgeous whale. Next, I'd like to see you carve a foal.
  • I don't really see any comments on it but the coasters are so cute and probably so meaningful
