Once I zoned out during a lesson on volume in math class and then 0:39 started playing in my head. I felt like I ascended into another plane of existence. I knew I did when the answer to a question was 3,000 and I said 17,000

Everytime I listen to this I always imagine like a quartet of Jazz players playing this serious tune for a solid minute then a kid comes in and does a recorder solo.

Everyone is ignoring the percussion in these discs, they sound like they were made with note blocks, which fits perfectly into the game. Genious.

Honestly 0:38 is the best part, because it really brings that sort of homemade creativity feeling; It's a good melody, and the amateurish recorder sort of sends the message that you don't have to be good at something to make something good. Maybe everything else is better than what you've made, maybe everything else is more orderly, maybe everything else looks nicer, maybe what you made sucks terribly, but in the end, you've made something, and you've got the right to be proud of it.

My fave. So nostalgic for me. It was the first song I ever listened to in my SMP with a friend that is no longer with us sadly. I miss him so much, but this was his favorite song. I wish he got to see what Minecraft had become today. To Huck, my first online friend. <3

0:39 i feel like ive heard this in an amazing world of gumball episode Edited: returned to the song so here I am returning to this comment I was a hardcore gumball fan a year or so ago ( I am still a youngish child) and the episode I am thinking of is the one where gumball wishes to please pennys father. The point in which my memory thinks of the stal theme is the bit where they are partaking in a game of golf with the boss of penny’s father. I did some research and came to realise that it wasn’t really all that similar
