This scene was so heartbreaking for me. I loved Harumi at first, but hated her when it was revealed that she was evil. Then, in her final moments, she's redeemed. It was so heartbreaking seeing her die like that. I hoped that Lloyd would've saved her and that she would join the resistance.

This scene is why I love the new Ninjago! This was super dark and emotional

She did this to prove that the Ninjas aren’t worth anyone’s protection after the event of the Great Douverer, but at this moment she realized that it her that the Ninjas weren’t there to protect them

The best part about this scene is that it's not sad; it's tragic. Harumi is such an interesting character. With Garmadon you question whether or not he has any humanity to begin with, but with Harumi the question is will her humanity ever be able to correct her broken moral compass, or will it further shatter it. The interesting thing about her as a character is that I doubt after saving the family she would have had a sudden change in heart completely. She cannot see beyond her own trauma, which is why she reacted to that specific instance. It's why she doesn't pay any mind to the other hundreds of deaths she has caused. You wonder if she will ever be able to fixate on anything other than what happened to her during the attack of the great devourer. Those are the subtle questions her character poses, and the most satisfying way to have the tragedy of Harumi end is to leave those questions permanently unanswered. Seasons 8-9 are masterpieces, and I'm proud to be an adult fan of this series.

I am so happy Ninjago decided to go all out with seasons 8 and 9. This is a scene where they killed a girl by dropping a building on her. This is a Lego show. For kids. And they they killed a major character by dropping a building on her. God I love Ninjago.

For a guy with no heart he sure made a BIG deal about Harumi. Garmadons reaction to her death shocked me. He went full on assault destroying everything; it seems like he cared care for her but didn’t realize it until she was gone. Him screaming almost made me cry

It makes it even worse knowing lloyd went after her the second he could.. for real though that moment where the two just look at each other, a million words exchanged in just a glance, so well done

"After 4 years" Harumi: I'm back Bitches Lloyd: no it's CAN'T BE

this is one of the saddest scenes to me personally (probably cause shes one of my favorites) for these reasons: she freaks out a little bit but just stops, its like she accepts its gonna happen anyways, so she doesnt fight it. its even more tragic cause she stops when she sees lloyd, someone she hurt the most. even more tragic cause she helped a family that nearly suffered what happened to her. she stopped the possibility for the kid to end up like her. which probably means she does feel some sort of guilt. she legit could have saved herself and not help the family. if she didnt feel guilt she wouldnt have died. she just stands there, while the building collapses. everyone just watches, not being able to help her. its also really good cause of the fact theres not really any yelling. its just sad music with some sound effects. its a really good scene.

This was so emotional when I saw it. Why would she betray them. Her and Lloyd were perfect. This was by far my favourite season

I was watching this scene when my Mum walked in and it was so emotional. I was literally crying and then my sister walked in to and they both just stared at me and I cried over legos.

YOU WERE ON TOP OF THE FREAKING BUILDING HOW DID IT COLAPSE ON YOU!?

This was such a satisfying death. I love harumi as a villain. They shouldn't have brought her back
-
Who's here after harumi returned in crystallized?
-
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain
-
honestly this scene makes me sad that they brought her back for Crystalized, because this was such a fitting end to her character
-
the quiet one is dead.
