  • This show is one of the best examples of generational trauma spanning through time. Bojack never had a chance, he was shot in the foot from the day he was conceived. Joseph Sugarman destroyed Beatrice, robbed her of a mother and of a childhood, and in turn Beatrice and Butterscotch destroyed Bojack.

"All kids deserve parents" "Not all parents deserve Children..." -Wise person
  • To be honest, the intergenerational trauma in bojacks family ran so deep that I think it's a good thing he didn't have kids. He'd pass that shit down to them.

This show is the perfect example of just because you have a traumatic past doesn't give you an excuse to how you still can be a bad person like when we see bojack's past we feel sorry but then when he makes unforgettable mistake we can still see him as a bad person its like a reminder that you can choose to be a better person from your past or continue to spiral downwards and we see that happing to bojack throughout the show

this show is so fucked up and so golden. it takes all of the tough shitty parts of life and strings them into a lesson, and also a coping mechanism for getting yourself out of those shitty situations. you don't wanna end up like bojack or any of the horses in his family, but you see so much of yourself and your relatives in them. it's a blessing to have that kinda wake-up call.

"Crying is stupid!" That was hilarious but rude at the same time.
  • Holy shit, whoever voiced little Beatrice just tore my heart out. Her screaming and crying over her things being destroyed felt so real.

“But not my baby” “Oh especially your baby” “NOOOO” Probably the saddest pert

My ass anger issues: “you’re stupid :3” cutely pushes into fire
  • @angeldusteditzz
When she yelled “but not my baby!” And the dad took it from her and threw it in the fire with no emotion I felt so disrespected and upset for her I almost started crying
  • "Wait I want to hold her" "No, you'll get attached" Jesus christ I'm shedding tears

“ Crying is stupid” My brain👁️👄👁️: That dad is stupid
  • To be fair, they did have to burn their things. Scarlet Fever was a very dangerous illness in the 40s and was incredibly contagious. He was still an ass in this scene tho
