The second fastest woman alive Jamaica’s legendary Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will be making the last race of her career at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It comes with a sad feeling to see a woman who has been so good on the track calling it over. But as always, we will forever be grateful for the incredible contribution of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the world of track and field. She will for sure be remembered for her incredible performances on the track. Her most memorable moment on the track was during the 2021 Diamond League in Lausanne, where Fraser-Pryce ran a lifetime best of 10.60 seconds to win the women’s 100 meters. This performance saw her recognized as the third fastest woman in history and the second fastest woman alive behind Elaine Thompson-Herah.
