"Why you should play Lance" Me, who plays Lance: ...Go on...

Dude you have one of the best setting for a video I've ever seen. Your own music, your personality, the humor and the topics. The fact that it's about Monster Hunter is icing on the cake. Please give us more.

I would like a Lance guide, the ones I looked up on YouTube before weren't what I was looking for, probably because the people talking about it are no Lance mains so I would love to finally understand everything about this weapon I always wanted to pick up from someone who knows what he's talking about because of experience.

I think an underrated part of lance, and the part that really gets overlooked, in my opinion, is how rhythmic fights become with it. At any given moment, you know exactly what to do poke, counter, charge, shield dash, hop, etc. It all plays out like beats with you attacking, repositioning, and reacting to attacks non-stop the whole fight, and it is so rewarding because if you can nail down this rhythm with a monster, you really will rarely get hit. As a lance main, I appreciate you spreading the good word about this weapon and I really hope people give it a shot because it can be so satisfying to just cleanly obliterate monsters with it.

I just watched a vid about a guy who transcends reality by placing his existence into the void to hold off a virus that can literally drain your life away and yet he wishes to teach us how to pierce the heavens?. Am I high?.

Lance was a fav in 4u, and was a fav in base world, and man, Iceborne is everything I've ever wanted for it. (Except, more damage plz maybe.) There was some other vid floating around talking about how "Lance is a bad defensive weapon" by a player who claimed it was his most used weapon, yet he very clearly had no idea how to play (which is a consistent theme on his channel tbh). Yet he's going around with his 150k+ subs giving garbage advice. People should just watch this vid instead.

I'm stating it and if there isnt a lance lance revolution joke I'm rioting. Edit: R I O T TIME
  • This probably wasn't the desired effect, but I'm now going to start maining Lance in 4U also your tutorial song was straight fire, don't you dare apologize for that banger

"Not falling must mean you're damn strong" -My Hero Academia, said to Kaminari. The most satisfying moments I've had maining Lance have been when a super-agressive monster is harrying a teammate, it turns to me, and I block or counter a half-dozen attacks in a row while getting stabs in. Lately that's been against Zinogre and Barioth, but it's an amazing feeling when you pull it off without giving an inch while everyone heals up. And when you're doing solo fights, it's almost Zen getting in the habit of poking and blocking. EDIT: Also, SUPER into you doing a guide! Always looking for improvements to my techinque, and I still am struggling with the new (incredibly fun) Clutch Claw stuff.
  • That feeling when you just broke 500 quests with Lance and have literally zero with any other weapon. Seeing this video: a fellow man of culture I see, take my sub.

"You know this is gonna be super weird for people who haven't watched before right?" Hey! That's me!
  • @purplechip8020
Why am I watching this I'm already a Lance main? Oh yeah because Herny
  • @GoatFelon
A lance guide would be sweet! I feel like a lot of current guides already cover the main stuff pretty well though. It would be cool if you could go into more detail about the nuances of the weapon, like how to use the guard advance well (guard advancing backwards is super useful!), when not to Super Guard, when not to abuse the Clutch Counter, things like that.
