You are probably tired of buying older phones, but the LG V60 has the SD 865 - plus it's cheap. It has 3.5mm out, micro SD expansion, has a desktop mode, videos out over USB c, and supports a second screen. Always enjoy your content!

I love this setup. I use the S10e with Dex and an external monitor as my work travel setup and it's been great when it comes to packing light
  • @RetroKid
Copped a Note 10+ a long time ago specifically because of your review. Still using it and it's still going strong. Paired it with a Gamesir X2, and it's awesome.
  • Dex has been around for years - yet, it is amazing how few people know about it. Literally allows you to use your Samsung Galaxy phones as a computer for nearly everything you need to do. Wish Samsung would do a major push on Dex for at least one year.

Huge coincidence. I actually just did this with an old S10 Store Demo that I had laying around. Took a while to figure out how to get it onto regular firmware, but it's working great. Always love your content ETA. Keep it up!

You totally read my mind ETA Prime! I wanted to do this with one of my older phones, which also is an 855. I was going to go through your channel to see how to set it up and how the performance would be. Then here you are, releasing exactly what I was looking for!

I use an S10+ as my daily driver, and it still has great performance for general phone purposes, mobile games, emulation, and all sorts of productivity apps. Works well streaming games from my PC and even emulating up to Wii pretty decently (thanks to Dolphin)
  • The most useful gadget I like to watch most in this channel. A good hdmi connector and convertor. It breathe new life into many products by giving them new purpose and ability.

I keep thinking about doing this. Will definatelly do it in the future. Great video!
  • @Vazaqin
I've had this phone for like 3 years, and i am just discovering that you're able to do all of this, and have never known what dex even was..this is blowing my mind dude..i feel like an old person discovering smart phones for the first time LOL

8GB / 256GB variant of S10e is great in Dex, as well as in the GameSir controller.
  • @Wilhuf1
Really like my S10, which I got specifically for games/emulation via Dex, per ETA Prime’s recommendation a few years ago. Also recently got a gamevice flex for it. Fun times.
  • I have an old Galaxy S10 laying around and if I knew you can get so much out of this device, it's mind blowing.
  • @DPMAce
Great video. Inspires me to use my old s10+ the same way
  • @SkywardKing
I recently bought a S10+, 8gb of ram and plenty of power. Love taking advantage of older yet powerful hardware.
  • I just changed my phone from Poco X3 Pro to S10e after watching your channel. I really love it, especially the Dex mode and small form factor. I got the 8GB RAM 256GB ROM version.
  • @EdgyOllie
Do more of these bro, love the android emulation videos
  • @danh2716
Yep. My daily phone is a Galaxy s20+ (SD865). I have a gamesir for playing directly on the phone, plus a bunch of random controllers around the house (xbox,ps4,moga,etc.) Plus usbc-to-hdmi adapters plugged into each TV/monitor around the house. It's great to finally have a device that I can literally play anywhere, in any room in the house, while traveling, while waiting to pick a kid up from practice, etc.
