If you’re curious like me but doesn’t want to leave yt, walnut table was sold by 4300 usd while the blue one was sold for 3700 usd! I loved both ❤

I think the best form of reflection is the type that you take all criticism with a grain of salt and say, "Hey, you could be right! Let's try it!"

I feel like an intruder posting here, but I really enjoy watching these videos. At 85, I don't have the stamina, the skill, or the room in my garage to undertake anything at all in the woodworking world. I did take woodworking in my Texas high school under a terrific teacher and got an appreciation for the products of our work and imagination. Then, later, as a high school math teacher, I could appreciate the skill of the teachers and what their students produced. I spend a couple of hours or more each day watching, and really enjoy your comments, your trial-and-error methods and always the finished product. Don't worry about the trolls - they're everywhere! I'm editing this post - I don't know the name that appears at the top of this message, unless that is what the Internet assigned me when I subscribed.

You are way more skilled than you give yourself credit for. I had a real problem choosing between the blue table and the natural wood finish table. Blue is my favorite color and the blue one would fit right into my blue and white decor scheme. Conversely, I love the wood finishes that you do and that’s one reason I watch your videos. Everything you make is so magnificent!
  • The blue table with the fade was really cool. Kind of had that 'custom guitar' aesthetic. But that said, I still liked the walnut one even more. Awesome work all around.
  • @raulllavaneras
I have so much respect for you saying “I messed up by doing X, then realized Z is better.” You’re like NONE of the bosses I’ve had.

We recently came across your channel. We are in awe of the quality of your work. Your patience definitely shows in the final product. Everything you design and make is 100%. You've been blessed with a gift.
  • I started watching your videos with the fire table! I love what you do with every piece you create, and I love that you are sensibly snarky with the negative comments. Personally, I like both the blue and brown tables, I think the overall design of the room would dictate which one I would buy. Keep up the great work 👍
  • @sprN0VA
Surprisingly, I think the blue table will sell for more. If you do another colored table, guitar makers often start with a black or charcoal stain first to get the grain patterns to really "pop", then sand it back and use the actual color such as blue, purple, etc.
  • @michaelm9871
Brown. The blue table is actually really cool, but I think it appeals to a smaller group of people. The oil finished walnut look is kind of timeless and can mesh well with a lot of other decor choices. The blue table is basically limited to ultra modern style spaces. Both are awesome though. The blue table is definitely unique!
  • @discowizard5636
blue! i absolutely love how the blue table turned out. the wood choice was class and the blue made the pattern really pop

Cam you have such an amazing story. The quality you bring is outstanding and inspiring to the viewers. Thank you so so much for sharing your passion. I find your videos fun to watch and educational. At the same time I enjoy how you take on challenges and mishaps. I really enjoy watching you!!!
  • @lanon3277
The turquoise fade was an awesome choice. It helps bring out the pattern in the wood, and when you're working with an organic product, you should always try to take advantage of the natural art that's already in the wood. If I were in the market for a table, I'd have gone for blue. But blue is also my favorite color and you did a spectacular job.
  • @sophwitchproject
Blue is low key so unique and pretty. I didn't expect the wood to shine through the blue dye like that. I do think the walnut will sell for more and is also pretty but that blue is something else.
  • @peterottes6900
These are stunning. Phenomenal work. I like your work. I like working with wood myself but have limited space and resources but I strive to get a little better each time. Watching your videos gives me little ideas that I can try. Thanks and look forward to watching your other videos.👍
  • @MrSumgi
Blue...As a lover of natural and rarely used color on my work I do like the blue table quite a lot. I also love the walnut table mostly because it is spectacular wood and natural. Thanks for sharing the work you do. I am a turner but have just started thin king about using carving similar in nature to what you do on some of my work.
  • @margodphd
I'll never get tired of walnut. It's such a beautifully coloured wood, a perfect mix of warm and cool undertones.
  • @failfurby
Brown. Hands down. The reason walnut/wood pieces will always sell for more is they are able to fit a wider array of décor styles and color pallets. Bright blue like in the video is niche. At best. And, much easier to come by for affordable prices at major retailers. You can't get hardwood tables, let alone ones with resin inlays and pours, at Walmart or Lowe's. That said, I think both pieces turned out beautifully and you really elevated the results with those amazing finishes.

I am impressed with the quality of your work, I am just getting started with a few tables .I have a piece of redwood 11ft X4ft trying to figure out legs for it . I have cedar and some curly maple. I have been playing around with different ideas.I am a disabled veteran with time on my hands and few tools
