UNITED States military equipment and vehicles from the Armoured Brigade arrive in Denmark on Wednesday (April 6) en route to Poland.

The U.S. Army tanks, fighting vehicles and other equipment arrived at the port of Esbjerg, in western Denmark.

For the next nine months they will be used to support a deployment of a U.S. armoured brigade in Europe.

Colonel Joshua D. Hirsch, Commander, of 598th Transportation Brigade said the operation at the port was a good example of NATO cooperation that “just shows the might of NATO and what we can do and accomplish."

I think that tracked vehicle coming down the ramp is an armored recovery vehicle for recovering damaged tanks on the battlefield. The Russians don't need those because their tanks typically disintegrate when hit.

Wellcome to Denmark :-) Always nice to have visits from friends.
  • 0:25 I saw that exact same truck towing that armored tractor a long while ago when I was going to school one day, and they were heading in a direction of a military base around the area.

I’m glad my country, Denmark can help somehow even that we are a small country. We have world largest container ship fleet. That could help transport much American heavy amour as we did in Iraq war.

Note how they are sand colored; this is because for the past 20 or so years American ground equipment has been needed for desert warfare. Now is the time for an urban respray.

That M88 and M113 has probably been to more countries than any of us.

Man where was this? I live in Denmark and my son would have loved seeing those cool vehicles

That first truck coming off the boat I saw a big convoy of them around 15 while driving (USA). Curious if those were heading to poland. Saw them about two weeks ago near a major US port city.

Greetings from Ukraine, Avdiivka. I express my gratitude to all the countries that help my homeland. There has never been such a provision before.

I love The Sun because they let the live audio, with no music or anything
  • let's be honest they're in route to Moscow they're just going to Poland first because that's the starting line.
  • My hometown in the U.S builds some of this equipment. Grew up a mile from the factory. Would see military vehicles right before they were shipped off to Iraq and Afghanistan driving down the street by my house. I hope the Ukrainians are able to put it to good use now.
  • These are vehicles for logistic support. Always good to see logistics being augmented and improved.

Omg, that's happening here in my little port city !!

I love how nice our equipment looks after weeks of seeing that soviet death trap stuff all over

The people of Ukraine will meet this technique with tears in their eyes! Thank you America and allies! Together we will defeat the barbarians!
  • Imagine all the money effort and engineering goes in to building these killing machines, we'd be after exploring most of the galaxy by now if we could all just get along and stop this pointless behaviour. Most of these killing machines will be destroyed and so they build again. Madness

Second vehicle was for towing tanks. Looks like heavy machinery for clearing mines or constructing new base facilities.
