Why I Refused To Take My Medications For ONE Year | Bipolar Disorder

Published 2024-01-26
From 2015 to 2016, I was in denial about my diagnosis with Bipolar Disorder. I had some reasons which felt valid at the time but they came with consequences.

😊My name is Ese and I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2015.
Bipolar disorder is a mental illness that causes extreme mood swings which include emotional highs (mania) and lows (depression).

Its symptoms really affect sleep, energy, activity, judgment, behavior & the ability to think clearly.
