Is there a preferred sheeting angle for each type sail? Say a G0 or Gennaker? Surely the design of the sail is optimized at a certain sheeting angle?
  • You mention clearance at the mast head, but give no specific details. I have a Caliber 38 Hull # 1 Isomat spar. The furling gear hauls very close to the mast cap. There is a plate for a port and starboard shive for a spinaker that would only clear the top furling swivel by about 6" enough? Do you have a recommend distance?

Hi, I watched this code zero webinar, very informative, I do have a question, would you recommend using a top down furler with a g2 genakker, would it fold nicely at the top ? , If so, which top down furler would you recommend, I have been looking at Selden GX furler. Also if doing that, would it still be possible to ease the tack line when sailing deep angles to the wind ?
