I hate that I relate to every part of the remix. My father cheated on my mum when I was 8 and they kept arguing because of it. She eventually decided to stay. I never understood why they fought so much until I found proof of it because of our linked iCloud purchases, 5 years later. My mum explained what happened and honestly, I wanted her to leave him. The saddest part is that she thinks that he has changed. He hasn’t. He’s just gotten less stressed. He still gets violent when he gets angry. He beats us, and threw me and my sister across the room, both of which were not because of anything we had done. Later, when he found out I knew about his cheating, he went into iCloud and his the purchases, then went into my Google account and deleted my screenshots. 15 years later, and he’s still as shit as the first time. This time, he doesn’t take it out on us because I’ve threatened him with domestic abuse. Instead, he takes it out on my younger cousin, and scares him so much he pisses himself. My parents always brag about having obedient kids, they don’t brag about what it took to achieve it. To this day, I flinch whenever someone raises their voice or punishes a kid. My sister can’t eat when they argue and cry if they bring her up i’m an argument. And there’s nothing I can do to leave. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
