I'm a 35 year old man with no emotions. This video made me cry for the first time in decades. So beautiful.

Aaah time and time again I get surprised by what a long way Paper Games has come, the Nikki franchise is evolving so fast, from a simple 2D anime game to 3D open world and now a movie!! I can't wait to see it, the trailer has a lot of heart and is visually stunning and I love the bright colors!! This really makes me want to work at Paper Games one day lol

First, this is truly WONDERFUL 💕💕💕💕💕 it's so beautiful, I actually cried😿 The amount of detail, not only in the animation, but the direction and writing! There's a lot of clues about everything being a dream of a memory of Nikki: the birds that fly by her and when she falls from the bus are cockatiels (Nymphicus hollandicus), and when she walks down the street to the granny's house, there's a kite shaped like a cockatiel stuck on a tree; she gets whisked away by giant rabbits, and later on the rocky road, there's a wall with bunnies drawn on it. The living balloons that started this whole adventure are seen in a "blink and you'll miss it" moment attached to the granny's door, and lastly, the flower in the rainy city's sidewalk which the umbrella turns into is the same as some of the flowers in the grandmother's garden. On the wall of granny's house, there's a calendar marked 06/12, Nikki's birthday, that's why the balloons where at the door, alongside a couple of decorations: it's one of Nikki's birthdays in the past, when she was a child. After the granny places the flower crown in her head, Nikki's sadness is due to the fact that she is aware that everything is just a memory, and her granny isn't really there anymore . Truly, everything was produced as executed with the utmost care, I'm speechless.

when a game company makes a whole animation that goes longer than 30 seconds they deserve all the respect ever

I've lost my grandma recently , and this had me in tears... it's amazing how Nikki's grandma also made flower tiaras for her , just like mine did .. beautiful movie great job ...❤

Imagine the Nikki games growing to be one of the top games in the future, from a 2D dress up game, to this, a movie. I honestly can’t wait to see the Nikki games blowing up, it Fr deserves it

2:15 Mixed feeling here, then I JUST started crying, somehow I just cried through the whole trailer.😭 Seeing Nikki being so courageous and resilient just made me so emotional. And 4K pls

This is beautiful and amazing. After watching the trailer for the Shining Nikki "Star Sea Dream" I thought that a movie about Nikki should be made, and I can't believe that it is actually becoming real!!! I cried at the grandma part. Having lost not one but two of my grandparents, who were very dear to me. I cried.

An absolutely magical short that truly brings out all the sense of wonder and awe of a child. One moment she is riding through a starry sky, the next she is running through a flowery avenue with kiddy chalk drawings on the walls and a kite stuck in a tree. I then got completely teary eyed when she sat down by the old woman who finished the flower crown and adorned the little girl with it, and then saw her happy innocent smile at that<3<3<3

It's crazy to see how Nikki evolve, I never thought we would get a movie !

They deserve the money i spent on nikki series because look THIS IS THE RESULTS and it is definitely worthy

to think this franchise started with a simple paper doll game… this is incredible really

how dare this completely random story i have never heard of nor know nothing about just come along and make me feel real feelings deep down in my cold dead emotionally distraught soul for the second time this year and look flawlessly gorgeous and intriguing while doing so!

4:04 The piano part really gave me goosebumps and made me cry a little bit. I even cried a whole lot more at the grandma part, I also can relate with Nikki I lost my grandmother a long time ago when I was a younger.😭😢
