Pelosi slams 'Putin caucus' within House GOP

I never thought I'd see a Pro Putin GOP... such an insult to history....

Who would have thought this possible just a few years ago.

Certainly Mike Johnson deserves credit for standing up to Moscow Taylor Greene's Putinist caucus by defending American values in Ukraine, yet the delay in providing the correct and proper support three months ago has cost Ukraine tens of thousands of lives and billions in destroyed infrastructure, including schools, hospitals and churches.

The reason there is not consistency about arming Israel and Arming Ukraine is because nobody wants to try to take the time to explain our defense budget to the American people The defense massive budget is pre-ordered every year. If the money is not spent, it is just gone. It isn't saved somewhere. Its already been spent as soon as the budget is declared. So if you don't re-commission some of the defense budget to move equipment (like a bunch of Bradley Armored vehicles) sitting useless in an army warehouse Or to increase production of new patriot missiles to replace the ones we are about to give Then all that money will just end up as like a new golf course on an Air Force base and upgrades to the officers club, etc It MUST be spent on something the defense department would spend it on So like - if the debate that reaches the public was something like ... we shouldn't be spending money on Ukraine because we need to repair some old Aircraft carriers, THEN the debate would at least make sense But when you go "we shouldn't arm ukraine because we need to secure the border" - it doesn't make sense because homeland security is a completely different budget:

Rep Pelosi is exactly correct. Mosciw marge is spewing exact Russian propaganda & tbe Russian gov& its t.v. station are praiseing Marge. This activities by Moscow marge is Treasonous to our government! Appeasement is dangerous. We must get that Ukraine aid bill passed NOW. its disgusting.

The GOP has dug itself into such a deep hole over the last 7-8 years and they just keep digging. My former party is unsavable at this point, and it will take at least a generation to overcome. Quite possibly two generations.

We must vote them out as soon as possible.

The speed with which we gave weapons to Ukraine drove me crazy as well. But there was a wisdom in it I have to admit. It came so slowly, as Russian continued to ramp up and press forward, and increase their aggression, so Putin and Russian pundits can never claim we were the instigators and they were simply responding. In the long run, which there will be with this war, 10-15 years, this will matter immensely. So my preferences would have been the riskier way with much more downside. Wars are not at all perfect. And many wars absolutely must be fought. Russian aggression is definitely one of them.

I remember when she was one of the very few who warned about Chinese aggression.

We were not too slow with supplying Ukraine because multilateral aid and other countries wanted to help too? ... What?! Just admit that the administation has been too timid from the start. Others, especially Germany, held off their more lethal aid because of US's weak support. Still no F16s.

This is something GOP just MUST handle,take care of..to have Russian intrests,propaganda,narrative INSIDE the GOP/the House is very very VERY dangerous for American security and intrests.not only dangerous to America but for a number of countries,allies as well..who could ever guess that a number of "high ranked" GOPs would be in Russian "pocket"??.its truly mindblowing..the GOP core MUST/NEED to deal with this issue ASAP!!
