This disease is incredibly dangerous and the public should be more aware of it to help save lives. If you are going to venture in the American south, wear insect repellent and protective clothing against ticks.

  • I had this disease a few years back. I didn't develop any severe symptoms and I was able to recover, but it was NOT pleasant! I had an itchy rash that could only be eliminated by taking doxycyclin for about a week, but I pulled through.

    Thank you so much for posting this video! I am studying on numerous infections, diseases, and worms, I'm planning to become a doctor! Even though I'm still 13 and I really don't know which doctor to become yet.. But I hope I can become one! Once again, thank you.

    I caught this when I was 21 back in 1981 it took a few different doctor visits and misdiagnosis before I was in bad shape it attacked my liver I spent 10 days in the hospital lost over 20lbs and I didn't even mention the symptoms I have never had headaches like that before or since, high fever,red dots on yellow skin, bloodshot eyes and not being able to eat or drink anything without throwing up within minutes

    Have it now! Currently can’t find a doctor that will deal with it…
  • This is what I have Rocky Mountain spotted fever it seems like it doesn't want to die from doxycycline. I have this awful rash that hurts to the touch, and rash is hot. I thought it was over 3 weeks later I got fever chills pain in my legs n soar throat . So the Doc put me on 10day of doxycycline.Hope this works.
