I'm 71 y.o., and we gave our pets dog and cat our leftovers. My mother cooked all our meals from scratch. She was a really good cook too. The pets didn't get diabetes, cancers, etc. like today. Also, our pets were indoor/outdoor and would occasionally dine on a small critter. We need to go back to a common sense lifestyle! God Blessโค

chicken hearts, pumpkin, unsalted pumpkin seeds, salmon,** broccoli?, apples, no core) blueberries, sweet potato, cool. Thanks Doc

Pumpkin seeds raw will get rid of worms within a couple of days. My dogs go into the garden and eat pumpkins, carrots, broccoli, cabbage and they love it.

I blend yogurt, banana and blueberries and freeze it in ice cube trays as "ice cream" for my dog. He loves it, especially on hot summer days.

I had to laugh at the broccoli rejection, my dog will steal raw broccoli and run away with it like itโ€™s a bone ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • I'm so glad i found your channel. My pup is almost 16 weeks, had him since 9 weeks, i feed him broccoli, spinach, sweet potato, carrot uncooked, eggs and shell, fermented yoghurt...all the good meats, his favourite is duck meat off the bone {i cut it from the bone}. I wont listen to anyone about how great manufactured dog food is, my pup wont touch it....yeah
  • I've been making my little Minpinzu's food for years, following your advice. Carrots, sweet potato, spinach, yellow squash, zucchini, and blueberries cooked. Adding organic meats. Supplementing with your Ultimate Canine. He's doing very well at 12.5 years old. No kibble or processed food.
  • Tula deserves an Oscar ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆฎ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿฆœ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™
  • I don't know if I'm more impressed with the content of the video, or the fact that Tula sat on that counter the entire time! Honestly, though, great info!!

Our Corgis love all the foods you mentioned except chicken hearts. I'll have to try that for them. But instead of yogurt, we give them a couple tablespoons of kefir every morning with half a hard boiled egg and a handful of blueberries. In watching a video on how to make kefir, they mentioned that a small amount of kefir was good for dogs every day. I believe it has similar benefits to yogurt.

Thank you Dr.Jones!! I have 190# Giant breed dogs, I make every for them. All food is either raised or grown on our place or sourced organic. Trying to give them the best possible years of living.

No kibble for my dogs. My older dog got kibble for the first 2 years of his life (he's 14..5 years old). He eats anything I throw at him. Our young dog was raised on raw meat diet from the day we got her. She does not like veggies, she watches the older dog eat it and then she plays with the veggies, throws them around, later he would clean up after her. He also likes my home made Sauerkraut. That surprised me. They get an egg every day with their meat. Chicken hearts, and beef heart is on their menu often. They get Greek yoghurt whenever I'm having it (plain, no sugar). They like plain kefir too.
  • Your dog touches me to tears. Oh gosh I love you baby girl you sweet innocent caring being.
  • @N3r1a
I make my own greek yogurt and kefir. My dogs really love it. Also every year I get zucchinis and pumpkins and chop them up and freeze them so the pups can enjoy it all year round. Crazy dog mama here, have a small chest freezer for dogs' meat and veg too. Beef hearts, tongue, kidney, liver, chicken hearts, chicken feet and bones for plain broth just for them.
  • I make a combo pot of all these ingredients and add it to my dogs kibble daily. Also don't forget red bell peppers, ground flax seeds, and herbs like oregano, parsley, tumeric, ginger, etc. Started this routine with my dogs about 6 years ago. My 80 lb. goldendoodle still going strong at age 14.
  • I follow your Channel my dog was diagnosed with epilepsy seizures spent lots of money the doctor did CAT scans and prescribed medication started medication seizures remain ask the doctor what can we do he said up the dosage so we did Caesars every day after eating lasted an hour violence foaming at the mouth I was getting 2 hours of sleep if I was lucky for 4 months we suffered then I started researching every aspect of her symptoms and one day I noticed she had worms in her feces and she was never checked for worms by the doctor and the medication he prescribed he was also supposed to subscribe folate and vitamin B12 but he did not treated the worms seizures continued she started to lose vision I decided I was taking her off the medication winged her down using CBD oil and vitamins for a couple of months it seemed that certain foods would trigger violence seizure and we up the dose of CBD oil in the foaming at the mouth we're still there research led me to pancreas stop the CBD oil seizures subsided but still remained she is blind at this point started researching food that was digestible was feeding her steak and chicken I tried your pork diet seizures remain but not as constant some of the vitamins I was given her through my research we're also inflaming the pancreatitis such as the CBD oil the fats reduce the steak and chicken and started with Royal Canin digestive care seem to improve back to the pancreas my research led me to fresh ginger and Ginger was the trick no seizures but she still blind and the second bag of Royal Canin digestive care not the prescription brand seem to have been tainted seizure every time she ate it twister back to boil chicken and steak with her Ginger she's been doing well recovering for the past month no seizures the medication was killing her and he upped the doses without even prescribing the vitamins to help counteract the damage she is officially blind the steak is a little hard to digest we give it half cooked boil the chicken Ginger twice a day and the appropriate amount for her body weight and we're doing great other than the damage that was done Pharmaceutical malpractice and I'm not a doctor by no means but I read a lot and the ginger was the remedy for the liver and pancreas inflammation triggering seizures and foaming at the mouth sorry so long I left a lot out just trying to get this out for you
