Btw the teaser is in fact the Same Springtrap model we have today, people have remade it with the springtrap model and have had the same result, it’s just the lighting and position

I remember all of the discussions about it and was really fascinated by this new character. I remember believing the salvage mechanic where he would steal parts, I thought that it was pretty cool. For the character itself, I remember some people calling him "Golden Bonnie" as he looked like a bit like Bonnie with the colors of Golden Freddy (during the time that every super cool mysterious characters were just golden versions of previous characters, like Golden Toy Freddy and such lmao)

ive been an extremely deep fnaf fan since I was about 6. following all the lore and games since fnaf 2 was released and I never knew this existed till now

Ahh the good times before the lore became so hard trying to solve it would make a maze purely made out of dead ends

Maybe Fredtrap was Henry instead of William because William used to wear springbonnie suit and Henry the Fredbear suit and that would create a whole new universe

I think the mechanic for collecting parts would work better if the animatronic parts would have been scattered throughout the cameras and maybe randomized through the nights, and every camera would have something to press to prevent the part from being collected or maybe just simply looking at the camera would work, but then youd have to watch if salvage wouldn't try to leave for another part. Maybe not all parts would have to be collected, maybe even only 1 on the final night

I remember when people speculate that Springtrap from the first two teasers might be golden Freddy before the trailer for FNAF 3 came out which fully reveals Springtrap. And I also like the fan model of fredtrap is almost like Springtrap but with bear ears and a nice looking hat

I remember the times even before this teaser when all that Scott Games had was "Offline" with a 3 in the corner when increased the brightness. Good times bro. I remember most people back then thought this was Golden Freddy and that Fnaf 3 is gonna be an origin story

i remember watching theory videos ab fnaf 3 before it was re,eased- specifically one by Pretty Grump Bear. their theory was that springtrap was a hybrid of Bonnie and freddy because of the weird features, the fact he had a nose like bonnie, but a button on his chest like freddy. i miss the days of fnaf when theorizing boiled down to counting toes and reading disappearing posters.

The "second iteration" part is wrong. The original idea people had was that the box itself was alive and the toy parts were an animatronic hybrid which would attack the player. This idea started with the "what we can use?" teaser which showed the toy box (the main name this hoax has) in a dark room with Springtrap in the background.

Probably my favorite of the fnaf hoaxes, there's just something about it that makes me laugh a ton. I'd love to see more videos on other fnaf hoaxes and some twisted metal content would be nice.

I remember when 8 bit Ryan claimed that the teaser image wasn’t Fredbear or foxy, but rather a withered version of Sparky the dog.

Fun Fact: That first teaser is just a cropped zoomed in version of the main Springtrap full body render.

I’m pretty sure someone put the spring trap model over the teaser and it lined up perfectly I think it might be the same model that Scott was messing around with the model for a good teaser render, accidentally made spring trap look nothing like spring trap and put it in just to throw us off lol

i rememeber hearing the name salvage and thinking it was another name for springtrap. i called springtrap salvage for a long time until my friends corrected me. i never knew that it was a bear tho i always knew it was a rabbit.

Man the forgotten animatronics that people make or Scott made like a pretty much died out back in the days but I guess people still know it

I felt like I wasn't ever confident enough to say for sure what Springtrap was when this image came out, but I swear it always looked like one of the fox characters to me. The shading made (at least one of) the teeth look sharp to me, like Mangle and Foxy have, and the snout always seemed very canine, even if looking at it now, I see it's too short to be one of the fox head models. Then again, I only saw this teaser through other people's YouTube videos. Wait, short canine-esqe snout... It couldn't be... SPARKY THE DOG?
