I urge anyone that hasn't seen The Bear to get on it. Such a solid representation of food service, and with really well written characters that are authentic. Can't wait for more to come.
  • @RVCfilm
He comes across as really gracious, including giving shoutouts to the other cast and those who helped him with the role and to local restaurants that could use the support. Really good human being vibes.
  • @jsmooooov
That AA monologue in one of the last episodes is award worthy. Really incredible acting

Loving all the well deserved recognition Jeremy is receiving after Shameless.

I don't how many lives he's lived but he has this very authentic way of acting that makes you feel like you're watching a real person's life. From a poor dude living on the southside of Chicago with his dysfunctional family to a Chicago chef, he nails it every time.
  • My brother passed 3 years ago and he would have LOVED The Bear. I wanted to talk to him about this show the entire time I was watching it. It hit really close to home and I actually finished it on the anniversary of his passing. It was a great watch experience and I’ll revisit it more than once for sure.
  • The “heard, heard, heard” sent me straight back to my days in the restaurant business. Made me smile.
  • It’s a love letter to anyone who ever worked in a crazy kitchen.

I wish Anthony Bourdain was still alive for many reason but seeing this show and hearing him talk about it is now one of those reasons

Jeremy makes every role shine. His talent and skill reaches beyond the screen.
  • What I loved most about the show is how honest it felt and not overly sexualized. Like you have people who work together and have honest relationships with each other and focus on their craft and success

This show is 100% authentic. I was a chef and the show hits some of the PTSD that we all have. This is especially true of his flashbacks. The amount of fear of a head chef and the pschological abuse freaked me out.
  • That was such a solid interview. No fluff, minimal pandering, a fun stunt with the sandwich, and JAW told quick, captivating, pertinent stories with interesting details.
  • @chewpocalypse
Ive been working in kitchens for 25 years. This show gave be the best anxiety attacks ive ever had.

One of the best new shows of this year. Every character had a great arc with lots of growth.

My housemate is a sous chef, it's awesome to watch this show with him together and see his reactions to the show, it's 100% on point.
  • @yeobo
Love that Seth allows his guests to actually tell a story and fully answer his questions, lots of hosts always cut off their guests and you can tell how rushed they feel. The energy is just very calm and feels like an actual conversational interview, instead of some increased energetic spinball of an interview
  • The Bear hit me like a sledgehammer. Insane writing and performances. That last shot 👌 ❤️😭

This actor completely captivated me me when I watched Shameless. It was so authentic feeling. When you can get lost in a movie or a series and forget your watching an actor, it's the best. I always feel moved after watching him. Selfishly, I hope he continues acting because what he does is special. Can't put my finger on it but this guy is a star.
