This video here (the original one which was made in early/late 1993) marked the material logo period for the first of several short sponsorship stings of the ITV PowerGen sponsorship period which lasted for almost two decades. Here the partial hand section and lower section of the sun symbol feature on a green background with raindrops descending from above, with lights shining on the surface, as the camera continues to zoom in, another drop of rain descends on to the large drop before crossfading out to main view of the logo partially cut off.
The end section which normally would have carried the 1989 corporate ITV logo at that time from September 1989 to October 1998 along with the typeface at the time which was Palatino Linotype, has been replaced instead with the yellow lowercase and blue box logo that was used between October 1998 - January 2006 and the Helvetica Neue font used during that period, plus the AdiNeue font used for the '' Sponsored by'' section.
