5 TIPS FOR CAMPING IN EUROPE: CAMPING IN ITALY + FLORENCE FOOD MARKET

Published 2021-09-04
Our 5 best (and maybe unexpected) tips for camping in Europe! Come dine with us as we explore Florence’s biggest and best food market; Mercato Centrale Firenze before we set up tent in Cervarezza, hidden in the scenic Apennine Mountains, Italy.

Buongiorno!
Be a part of our #Italian 🇮🇹 adventure!
After Spain we headed to #Italy, flying into #Florence. We discovered Florence’s best #food market, and ended up eating there habitually for the few days we were there. We then escaped to #Cervarezza, a tiny Italian mountain village located in the #Apennine mountains in the Reggio Emilia region. There we set up #camp, and shared our 5 tips we had learnt so far about camping in Europe. This was all before we attempted a high ropes course at Italy’s biggest adventure park, Cerwood.
Just don’t look down!!

Our tips:
1. Look for grass pitches
2. Look for shade
3. Look for plenty of communal spaces
4. Camping is not necessarily cheaper than staying in hostels
5a. Maintain a daily bag of necessities
5b. For a comfortable holiday, add at least one person to the tent size
5c. Pack sliceable foot ware

After being separated for 8 months and then locked down in the UK for another 6, we’re finally back on the road again navigating international travel during the post COVID era... 🤙🏼

Hey guys 👋 Isn’t Italy just amazing!? We thoroughly enjoyed trying all the local foods in Florence and walking around the cobbled streets. The quietness of the Italian mountains was just what was needed next, and we loved sharing our afternoon trip to Cerwood and our camping tips we had just learnt with you all! Let us know in the comments below if you’ve ever been to Italy - where did you go? What’s your favourite Italian dish? ⬇️

Camp cooking pros!! Nicely done 👌 great tips for camping! I (Mac) have been camping on my bike a couple times recently and it's definitely difficult to get a balance between taking too much stuff and not having what you need! Also, love the bloopers at the end of your videos 😀

Nice video :) but I think prices in the hostel you recommended are too expensive , of course is nice place but €500 per night it's too much and its what I seen on their offer page 🤷‍♀️ greetings from England 🙂
