Suggestion: Instead of hiding the walkie talkie, Shane hides himself, stays silent and then Ryan has to search the place alone knowing Shane is in there...somewhere...waiting...watching...

“Sponsored by The State of Montana” is such a wild line for a ghost hunting show, this is incredible.

I watched a shit ton of you guys while I was pregnant and now Shane and Ryan’s voices are one of the only things that get my 1 month old to stop crying 💀💀💀

I think you guys need to do a spin off or subset of ghost files where Shane picks a place and gives Ryan “history” on it. They investigate and Ryan has to determine if the place is haunted or not. Then at the end Shane reveals if it’s truly a haunted location or if he just picked some random old building and made up stories. Could be a fun idea 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also Ryan and Shane: spends 5 minutes going 'wow' like Owen Wilson expecting a response from said ghost in an old prison

The camera person really understood the comedic nature of Ryan sitting next to that mannequin and questioning his life decisions. They captured it so perfectly lmao

Obsessed with the idea that the state of Montana wants people to visit them or at least be aware of their existence and someone piped up with “we could invite two ghost hunters to the old prison” and everyone agreed

Zombies are literally the opposite of ghosts. Ghosts are the spiritual remnant of a person, absent a body. A zombie is the physical remains of a person, absent a spirit. They truly couldn't be more opposite, Ryan.

about halfway through watching this episode, I kept noticing lots of strange noises that Shane and Ryan weren't reacting to and I started to get really confused because the sounds were very distinct and some of them lined up with prompts that they were saying. but then i realized that the sounds weren't actually coming from the video at all - they were coming from my own home. my cat, who was sitting with me while watching, noticed at the same time, so we went downstairs to investigate. turns out a small flying squirrel made it's way down my chimney and was running around in my fireplace, making all sorts of strange noises. the squirrel is safe and has been release back outside :)

I love that Ryan is afraid of ghosts and Shane’s just like: “is the paint poisonous?”

After Shane closed the door in solitary confinement and hearing that door squeal, I’m 100% convinced that “Hi” evp was just the door moving slightly

The fact that the S and the R on the solo investigation map are the real life size ratio of Shane and Ryan cracks me up.

There's something particularly cruel about a former prison infamous for corruption, abuse, neglect, and ultimately death being turned into a law enforcement museum. If I died there I'd be pissed and haunt the place too, it feels like spitting on the dead.

Love how "shave and a haircut" is supposed to be proof of intelligent life and Ryan is completely unable to do it.
