im just liking it that you can think of this demonstration as a more clearer illustration of DPS vs damage by number. if we compare that max barb vs 8 lv1 barb, at turn 1, the max barb killed 1 scrub but theres still 7 left and those seven dealt damage. next turn, the maxbarb killed one more but still sustained 6 damage. in just two turn it sustained a total of 13 hits. next turn itll be 18 hits, then 22 hits, then 25 hits, then 27 hits, then 29 hits. if the maxbarb cant attack and let all 8 barb hit at him, it be an 8-16-24-32 hits respectively, lasting only 4 turns. now to clarify, im just using turn to designate the time a unit attacks. so number of unit does matter in this matter as well. this is a broad analysis though because the maxbarb dont have an aoe attack to clear the mob of lv1 barb, and if it have one, it wont take any damage at all.
